Ah apologies! I must have missed that. I wasn’t trying to pry for content being added. Just if it was going well as you said. Apologies again.
Don’t worry about it. It’s clearly mentioned in the site rules, but who reads rules? I know I didn’t at first
It is coming along though -
A few of those are re-renders of existing images that I wasn’t happy with, but the vast majority is new stuff
Question: I just started the game a few days ago, and it’s amazing. Are you able to progress through the story if you never go to the gym?
The MC doesn’t have to go to the gym or use the gym for the main story to progress, but you will miss out on some scenes by not checking in every now and then. Also if you don’t go to the gym when you call Alice and she’s at the gym it will affect the relationship between the MC and Alice. I would generally advise to visit the gym whenever you call and she’s there atleast.
Going to the gym after Alice has texted us to comfort her is highly recommended as it greatly improves her mood.
Going to the gym intentionally improves the fitness, it does not help much except for some remarks from Alice and some scenes where you will try to lift Alice (but it does not influence the result of the race against Alice at all).
Meeting Alice at the gym eventually allows you to go and eat a meal with Alice’s fullness reduced or go to the cinema even if you have been there recently.
I believe that going to the gym advances Hannah’s story but I haven’t checked the code to see if this is mandatory.
If we’re allowed suggestions/ideas to be put in the topic. One idea I’ve had is at the later weights is Alice going to the gym just because she loves the reminder of how much of a fatty she’s become
Thanks!
Two things:
1: I’m currently at the point where she starts to get at 130 pounds and tries to diet, but I can’t get past. Could you guys help?
- An idea I had (And it might be hard or something you don’t want to do), what if you could choose to have MC gain weight, too?
There are a ton of things in this thread for suggestions on what to do. Mainly just do stuff with alice and you should progress with the game.
As far as the MC gaining weight it just won’t happen. The game uses full scene renders and the MC gaining weight would mean that every scene in the game would need to have another full scene render. That atleast doubles the amount of renders and that’s a huge time and resource investment.
it’s a bit tricky at first, but pretty much do what you’ve been doing up until this point (compliments, meeting up for outings) but make sure not to push her to eat more at first
I personally have always pushed more food and encouraged Alice whenever I’ve played even early game. The main thing is not teasing her too early. I’ve played the same anytime I’ve played and not seen the game over screen so it’s worked for me so far. Main thing to remember is Alice already eats when she’s happy and doing stuff with Alice and treating her well makes her happy. Definitely not hard to keep her happy as long as you treat her right.
Could anyone tell me what the endpoint of the current build is? I’m currently at the point where Alice has started to give up on dieting, and accept her body, but I’m also getting repeats of earlier instances where she talks about wanting to lose weight/goes to the gym and needs ti be reassured. I can’t tell if things are advancing, or if I’m in an end loop, haha
I’d certainly pay $30 for it - it’s the best around by miles!
You will know when you’re at the end of the game a to be continued screen comes up when your done with main story stuff.
The MC does not have to work out but it’s important to go to the gym regularly to fire some random events that trigger there, usually when I go to the gym and a special event does not occur I just leave without doing anything.
@WaitForIt2781 There definitely won’t be an option for the MC to get bigger. This has been suggested a few times, but as @Krodmandoon correctly points out, every single images in the game is a complete render. V0.7 has over 2,500 images (the finished game will have AT LEAST twice that many)and I’d have to redo every single one that the MC appears in. Not to mention rewrite a lot of the story. Simply not possible, I’m afraid.
As for the gym, there are a couple of trigger scenes there that you need to complete to progress the story. Apart from those, you don’t HAVE to go, but you’ll miss out on a few scenes, and one of the ways to keep Alice happy is to meet her there when she sends you an ‘I’m working out’ text’.
There will be more gym stuff added (was actually working on this over the weekend) to give a bit more variety, and there will be at least one event later in the game that takes player fitness into account.
@TheSleepyBoi suggestions are very welcome. As I’ve said previously, some of the best ideas in the game have come from things people have suggested that I’ve simply never considered. Neither Hannah nor Lacy were originally intended to get bigger. In fact, Lacy never had any story at all at one point…
As I said above, there’s going to be more gym stuff added…
@Hecate my PA, aka @Krodmandoon is correct as always. When you hit the end of the current content, you’ll get a black screen with ‘To be continued’.
Alice will still mention weight loss stuff, particularly if she’s not all that happy, but should lose most of her interest in staying fit as she gradually gets bigger.
I think i wont mind paying 30 bucks for the game once it is finished.
The dutchguy in me (we are known to be cheap) would prefer the 20 Bucks price xD
But considering the work that you put i dont think you have to Worry about the price.
I mean i can totally see IT being Worth the 30.

I think that maintaining a high level of fitness would have to be more rewarding given the cost in time, stamina and money that it requires. This would be purely optional but would allow for example to beat Alice at the race when she is still thin (and possibly trigger the shower scene more easily) and to have slight bonuses on Alice’s mood when you manage to lift her (there are actually only few sizes with scenes where the MC can succeed or fail to lift her depending on his fitness).
Otherwise it would be interesting to be able to meet very occasionally all the other characters at the gym.
So I’m at the point where Alice’s sister comes to town, and she asks if you’re a feeder. All three choices lead to a game over screen. What should I do?
One of the many MANY things I’m planning is on tweaking the outcome of the race. May or may not make it into the finished game though. I have so much stuff I want to cram in and I have to draw a line somewhere
Anything involving the player fitness will be fairly minor. More a nod towards those who like to keep the player fit than anything game changing.
Each of the three choices can lead to same three consequences (game over, temporary breakup or no breakup at all), choosing to tell Alice the truth is the easiest solution (continuing to lie to her is the hardest). The result depends only on your relationship with Alice (the romance variable), to improve it the two most effective ways are to invite her to your house or go to the cinema (there are other methods like inviting her to a fancy restaurant but they are more random or occasional).
