Amazing update, again so much extra content really appreciate the work and the new character is an amazing addition. I did notice one misspelling that isn’t on the list, the new characters name is misspelled I believe just before the wrong name bug. However, there’s nothing game breaking and given how much you weaved in to different stages, pretty crazy.
I don’t really have any complaints or notes, just a question. I believe you said there were like multiple potential endings to this one, and one you maybe didn’t like, but I seem to only get one. Any tips?
To be of help (though, multiple path spoilers ahead). Please don’t read if you want to discover them on your own:
From peeking into the code, what I’ve discovered so far is that there are three things paths to Alice’s confrontation
1 You’ve made her happy and confident.
2 You’ve made her misserable by unwantedly mocking, teasing, and pointing her weight gain.
3 Somehow you reach a middle spot between the two and Alice temporarily breaks up with you.
I’m still unsure if the lying/truth-telling scenarios create any ripples, but I hope that helps!
Apologies if you’ve messaged me either here or on Patreon and I haven’t replied. I’ve had dozens of messages in the past couple of days and I can’t keep up
In the early stages of the game, teasing is a very negative action. You pretty much need to get Alice feeling secure about her weight before you can tease her about it safely. So I doubt you (or anyone) will manage to chunk her up while also teasing, ever.
It IS possible… but it’s deliberately difficult. You can tease her a little and get away with it, but too much and she’ll start to get upset and hit the gym more as a result. And the dreaded ‘diet’ word will rear its ugly head a bit more often.
I’ve managed it in some of my test playthroughs, but of course I have all the variables to hand and know how they interact
Re; Alice’s appearance, weight fluctuation and modelling, I have done some explorations of 3D visulisation of WG using (sadly, limited) data derived from mostly from models on sites like Curvage based on relative growth of dimensions. I’ve taken measurement records, filtered those of similar height and the like and then plugged those into Daz via Measure Metrics. There’s sufficient variation for it to be rather nebulous, but that methodology has allowed me to do things like generate weight shifts at 10lb intervals. I could try throwing Alice’s stats at that and see how they compare.
Some of the things that make it difficult beyond the above are the square-cube law (measurement increases diminish over time relative to mass), distribution (visceral fat can expand in the body cavity with limited external signs) and data quality (errors can be very large in self-measurement).
I used Measure Metrics to produce the data for the below pic (rightmost image is blurred to avoid spoilers as this size isn’t in the public version of the game) a little while ago. It seems good at working out heights. I tried it on three of my characters and each time it gave the correct result, so I’d imagine it’s fairly accurate for measurements too.
Weight is another matter, of course. Two people of approximately the same height and body shape can differ quite a lot in weight as there are so many variables to take into account. The game does track her weight - if you’re nice to her, she may even tell you what it is but how accurate the numbers are in comparison to how she looks (especially as I’m limited as to how many size increments I can realistically include) is questionable.
Hi, this is my first message in this topic and, my first real message on weightgaming forum. i have download and finish the version 0.2 of the demo and, now i’ve become a patreon to download the version 0.3. I really appreciate this game and, in ever new version i play i found i big amount of new content who give me better emotion than last.
when i played i have think an a idea i’ve liked if is implemented in game: it’s about the protagonist/player, there s possibility, in the future versions if, in addition to name, to personalize the phsycal aspect: Hair, face and most important the gender. Because i think it can be beautiful live this game with a prospection of a lesbian yuri love story.
thanks anyway for the effort you put on this project
A sound idea on paper, a huge problem for a one-man 3D pre-rendered project. The workload multiplication means this will simply never happen. Even simply introducing a female protagonist character would double the workload; each additional customization option would require a complete set of new images be rendered for every single scene.
@Schattenjaeger is correct, I’m afraid. I’d love to offer customisation options, but it simply wouldn’t be possible. The game already contains over 700 images and that number is only going to rise. Each image is a complete render, not just the characters dropped over an existing backdrop, so I’d need to rerender every single image. One image takes a minumum of an hour to render, and most take far longer than that. I’d also have to rewrite thousands of lines of script.
It’s a nice idea, but won’t be happening, I’m afraid. I’d never finish the game.
She probably bought a yearly gym membership when she had a job (what a sucker!) It would make sense for that to run out eventually. I wonder if she’d go to the protagonist for money to go to the gym at that point.
My current rule of thumb is that per 10 pounds and based on people intentionally gaining weight, with heights around 5’5"to 5’7" with weights between 110-200lb (plus a bunch of other qualifiers)… an average in the vicinity of 2 / 2.5 / 1.5 / 2 inches per ten pounds on the bust, waist, belly and hips respectively is plausible though you can probably shift those numbers up or down by an inch and still be realistic.
There’s a fair amount of variation; the first 10-20 pounds in that spread tends to have a larger impact overall but particularly on the waist and belly - even for people with more of an hourglass frame. And as I mentioned before, after gaining a significant amount of weight, circumference gain relative to weight goes down; you might grow almost 3 inches on the belly in the first 10 pounds and less than half an inch, 50 pounds later.
