I find texture edit quite hard; I figured out about what texture multi is what for, it’s like for lighting and shadow so I ended up with her having such shiny and oily triple and quad chins. But hey its progress, other than having Saori looking like the ceo in smiling friends and I gotta say unrealistic fat face doesn’t fit her except for drawing her in 2d.
I enjoyed Mafuyu’s sculpt fat face than Saori here which I will have to redo so I’m feeling that Mafuyu is a walking blob then Saori might end up as a chubby attorney in Oh My Venus! a Korean show that has a female character, character’s name Kang Joo-Eun as the mc who gains weight when she work as an attorney due to stress so do the other Korean show TheATypicalFamily which a model that ends up stress eating and the director/producer I think mention she is 100 kg, character’s name is Bok Dong-Hee.
So here’s a bit realistically sculpt of Mafuyu and Saori face(sorry for not having more screenshots for Saori). I learnt a lot from a 3D artist named Vivikuri, he’s quite a nice person and I was able to pick up in his guidance but at some point I got held up on what to do for example make the cheek looks saggier because it’s only puffer when smiling because muscle tension which I never think of it in the first place since I never study on human anatomy, other than that he helps me quite a lot and I guess I can always study more in sculpting, pretty much I also should learn sculpting from scratch too for getting basic stuff done because editing existing model is harder than I thought.
Well, i was convinced by my friends to keep playing the series and since i’m now on Kiwami 2, i wanted to try your Sayama mod and i have to say, it looks good, even in my awful pc with low resolution.
I’ve been following a little your models and it’s amazing how you’ve been improving and it has motivated to not only keep playing the series , but also wanting to learn how to do stuff for Yakuza 0 or Kiwami 1 (like making a playable fat female character if it is possible). Plus I also adopted 2 styles being realistic and unrealistic human anatomy. Self explanatory naming for those styles, not making a reference like Yakuza style switch, it’s just realistic human anatomy because realistic proportion of fat and the unrealistic human anatomy is basically the opposite, I’ve been sculpting faces with realistic proportion and unrealistic proportion too, I’m also was thinking on some male characters to be fat but so far I’ve only done Yosuke Saotome and I don’t know if I will do another for male characters though I enjoyed and satisfied with the result, as for body proportions and fat folds are something I need to learn and study. I got help with Vivikuri but starting with character’s face model and hopefully will able to do the character’s body and fat folds
I understand that. I’m more of a realistic style, but going unrealistic ain’t bad. Hope you do well in the future.
Also, i’m getting issues unfortunately in chapter 4 with the Sayama mod, is causing me some crashes but i bet is my weak pc. I guess it can’t handle her.
done sculpting Sana, one of the girlfriends Yagami can date with(yes I intentionally let both of her hair meshes on just to see if it clips through her cheeks).
I was thinking my only next male character to sculpt in this game other than the Saotome twin brother is Sugiura, a main character in the game but it feels icky
Both twins now have their neck a bit thicker neck, I don’t have the screenshot for Tsukino but both are twins so you can see this screenshot as Tsukino or Yosuke

The mod basically only has the face model(hair model for Mafuyu) of the characters and there’s 2 characters I haven’t done it yet which are Nanami and Amane the 2 girlfriends you can date other than Sana and Tsukino.

The Saotome Twins, Tsukino and Yosuke; Yosuke being my first male character to be sculpted to be fat, these twins are just cute and funny thing is both their face are identically the same because I use mesh data transfer for Yosuke because I worked on Tsukino after Mafuyu and Saori.
Naisu Daisu/Rokkaku Aya; something really weird is that her name could be “Nakamura” because of filename in the game file but she is called as that other than Naisu Daisu because of a dice with 6 numbers and it’s a pun name so she can be called as “Nakamura”.

Hey, i just finished Yakuza Kiwami 2 with the mod and i have to say that i liked playing with it. I like when there is mods that allows to see characters in a different form and this was nice. Other than the issue with chapter 4 (only happened during the inital part until after Kiryu leaves Sayama to her adoptive mother, then it was fine to activate the mod again). and my previous critique.
(This was really fun to do every time, again, a nice mod to use)
The whole thing motivated me to investigate about how to make mods for it and i want to try some stuff for Yakuza 0. So, for that reason i wanted to ask what tools are needed for it. I read i need Partool for extracting and Blender and certain plugin, but i’ve been having issues with importing the models. So i wanted to ask you about if i need something else or i have to use an older version of Blender since i’m using the most recent one.
