Threads of Fat Female and Male(Saotome twin brother only) Characters mod in Yakuza/Like A Dragon Franchise

guess it might have to do in a certain folder that has ch04 to it’s name, try to find that folder and delete it if you want. Though even if I will redo it, you might as well delete that folder so you can use it.

For the unrealistic version of these characters, I will upload them later because I have Nanami and Amane to work with their face in realistic version.

After that I will do the unrealistic version starting with Mafuyu again. And besides that, happy new year everyone and may things you want to do such as improvement, new things, etc will be avail for you in 2025.

well I did actually sculpted the twins unrealistic version(which isn’t finished; in the video you’re going to see it’s rather the first one I had in mind then I will try a much more unrealistic because this face for these 2 are pretty much still realistic so I will go for a heavier and unrealistic amount of fat and chins I guess) before finishing those two and Mafuyu and here’s with spring bone on in this video

and some photos regarding the twins’ face in game(well see Yosuke the same as Tsukino since I basically transfer the mesh data to him from Tsukino)

You need an addon turbo Yakuza GMD to import models. Latest version and 3.6 should work

I was able to figure out before reading this, but thanks anyway. I had to change to an older version of Blender since the GMD addon doesn’t work properly in the latest Blender version. Is a good thing doesn’t require that many things compared to other stuff i’ve seen for other games.

Currently, i’ve been trying to do some tests using Miss Tatsu (the person that teaches Kiryu the Beast style) as an example, but man, it’s quite hard and i got quite rusty doing this kind of mods. I really need proper training in how to create a fat model and i also want to add as i said before a playable fat female character. It will be harder, but i really want to do stuff for Yakuza, as i really been enjoying a lot the games and i want to improve in the area of 3d models. Hopefully i can provide something good someday and share it.

Have a nice day and i wish you good luck on your mods.

Thanks and you too, if you want to upload your mod in this post or nexus mod I’ll allow it since pretty much this a threads of fat female mods in this franchise

Thank you.

I’m quite rusty as i said. But i first wanted to test if i could do it and the results were yes. Here is a (very rough and not good looking) fat version of Miss Tatsu. I’m surprised that it is possible.

The animations seems fine for the moment, so that’s a plus. I was afraid that in the sculpting process i would end up breaking the weight paint but it seems fine.

From the sides it looks bad. I’m still not good in making a good belly and butt, but for a first try it ain’t that bad… i guess. Due to being a little low poly (due to being an npc) and how her costume is, it is difficult for me to give a more smother appearance.

I’ll try to make it better before properly releasing something.

alright, you can use subdivision modifier and shape keys in case if something went wrong

I’m not joking, how i didn’t think of that before?. I got used to how i did stuff in USFIV, and due to being very limited in what i could do in that game, i forgot the basics.

This is the last comment i’ll make for the moment before i’ll go into my “productivity mode” and start working on stuff. To be honest, i don’t like having to ask for help for many reasons, but i’ve reached a point where i can’t go further without it. Most stuff i know is self-taught or with a lot of try and error, so i know is not good and neither how i properly should do stuff.

You have been very kind, and i really don’t want to be annoying. So now i’ll go to start learning and working on mods for Yakuza. This opens opportunities for me and when i come back, hopefully will be with something good to share. Thanks and see you soon.

No problem, and remember to use mask brush for certain area because I failed to mention that when I said to use subdivision modifier and shape keys. Good luck with your progress too!

Here’s Amane, another girlfriend you can date as Yagami; I’ll have to do her collarbone, chin and neck after this one and she ended up looking like a grandma here

I’ve done Amane face and I will be reworking Fat Sayama comes with 2 version being realistic and unrealistic

At the very least this is how she looked like realistically as well as on the clay viewport; my reference is rather from a female yokozuna that always appear in my timeline on X because someone kept reposting of her in original picture. or AI deepfake pictures.

Now for her body…I haven’t learn realistic body. I want to keep each mesh/object separately so I can learn how to adjust and sculpting correctly but joining meshes/objects can be helpful but the amount of separating and joining the meshes over and over can lead to quite a problem.

Well, i said i wouldn’t comment again for the moment , but i wanted to show a little of my progress. Since i’ve been learning to use more of Blender’s tools, i’m getting the hang of it.

Miss Tatsu now looks much better, at higher sizes it doesn’t look good but that’s more of the textures. Still much better though.

Since i prefer a more realistic approach, i don’t make the bodies nor the face too big.

I’ve been testing stuff with Reina now, and she is more complex since her model is used in cutscenes, but at least doesn’t need too much subdivision surface to make it more smooth.

I think the face ain’t bad but the body needs more work still.

This has been fun. Now, i’ll go back to the workshop and keep working. Have a nice day and bye.

It looks great, sharing progress is fine as well as giving tips for other to learn, also I’ve learned that for making sculpting easier is to use edit mode and select all then press alt+J to make the object/mesh from tris to quad, from what I know and Vivikuri mentioned that game models are triangulated making it look spiky and not so smooth, most game engines are with tris model and not quads model.

on topic of reworking Sayama fat mod, I’ll be also reworking Akame, Saeko(LAD8), Chitose and Seonhee(LAD8) including Kei fat mod, I won’t take the current version down to the gutter instead I’ll just be doing everything again with realistically and unrealistically(again) but never know when it will be out.

That’s great. I wish i knew some tips to share, but i can’t think of anything. I guess one is that you can merge vertex by distance in case some meshes break or splits when using smooth brush or using this add-on from this video to transfer shape keys (it sometimes works , others don’t but still a nice add-on to have).

For the moment, i’ll continue to improve on the Reina and Miss Tatsu models before i’ll go to Makoto. Unfortunately i can’t work with the JCC girls (because due to some issues with my graphics card it causes crashes), so , i wouldn’t be able to test them.Makoto will be hard because of her many costumes she uses during the story, but i’ll give my best. In case people want to test my mods, i’ll put them here.

-Fat Miss Tatsu.
-Fat Reina.

They are to be used with Shin ryu mod manager. Just drag n drop or install them through the mod manager and activate them.

Seonhee gonna be tough since she is a party member and each individual; this is the first time I heard that someone uses my mod as a drawing reference, cool cool keep it up

Starting with Kei I just sculpt her chin for the double and she already looked fat.

here’ the rest of the sculpted face before I added a bit of fat on her left & right mouth side.
