Vale City

any one know what casino machine is the best to use? one of the people of a couch says they think the machines don’t have even chances of wins

try the second machine from left to right, in its normal version you can save and load, but in hard that doesn’t work anymore

so the machine right next to the character that upgrades your flashlight if you giver her 100 chips?

not as I mentioned the machine that gives more opportunities to win is the second, starting from the left, at least the times I’ve tried. but it is more profitable than you buy them.

Has anyone beaten Miah yet? She’s the cowgirl in the cave on the beach. Borderline impossible.

Yes, it is not easy since it hits very hard, even if you wear the full suit to have the fusion, it is a difficult character to beat, it is best to bring many foods that give boost in defense and life, also the ultimate state pills. I also suggest using the skills that increase defenses and dodge, since having belly and boobs coffins can cause KO of Jessica and Amy.

I’m as astonished as I am disappointed that so little carries over to New Game +. All that got transferred were my team’s equipment, VIP passes, and daily bonus money tickets. Not only was I looking forward to roflstomping everything with my team of overleveled characters, I tailored my entire first playthrough to serving that purpose. This is especially frustrating since the game is mostly one long grind, and I’m really not looking forward to doing all that a second time.

The first time I played this game, back before version 2.0, I admit that I got so sick of the grind that I cheated. I located the save file, used an online save editor to give myself a mountain of money, then proceeded to enjoy myself for the rest of the game. By cutting out the need to grind for money, I could focus on powering up my team. Unfortunately, I don’t know where the save files are located in the latest version, otherwise I would do it again.

I think with all the extra daily bonus tickets carrying over you should be fine. Just go crazy with the doughnuts and cupcakes and the girls will level up quickly.

I suppose it’s not the worst thing that a new game starts with my party at level one, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a little more stuff to carry over. It took quite a lot of grinding to unlock passive abilities through Wisdom or by feeding the raccoon; surely those things could be carried over, right?

By the way, I actually went to the trouble of doing the math and finding out how efficient all the different food items were in terms of EXP gained per dollar spent. With price discounts in effect, I found out that Cake is the most efficient, offering 0.5 EXP per dollar spent.

The biggest problem with leveling up by eating is the Overstuffing mechanic. When a girl is Overstuffed, she can’t eat anything else until her BP level drops far enough. She can’t even eat Mushrooms in that state, which would otherwise lower her BP level. The only way to reduce a girl’s BP level when Overstuffed is to get into fights, then spend turns rubbing bellies and hoping she can tank the incoming damage.

Even more troubling is the need for money. You can’t level up without food, and you can’t get food without money. Not only does the BP gauge limit how much food your team can eat, their supplies are limited to what they can afford.

What save editor did you use, because I would like to use it as well lol

Go to this website, upload your save file, edit it as you see fit, then download it and replace your existing save file.

On Windows 10, the save files are located here:
C: > Users > [User Name] > AppData > Local > KADOKAWA > RPGMV > Vale-City 2.17

If you’re having trouble finding the AppData folder, it may be hidden by default. To fix this, while in File Explorer, click on the View tab up top, then click Options. In the window that pops up, go to the View tab, scroll down to the option for hidden files and folders, and set it to show hidden files, folders, and drives.

In hard mode you cannot save on demand. This makes the game grind even worse as you’re force to sit down for entire days and if you do everything as efficiently as possible one day can last awhile. Can that save editor bypass that function? So that I can save whenever like in normal mode.

Probably not. The save editor is primarily for editing numerical values. I imagine that the disabled save-on-demand is tied to a line of code somewhere, which the save editor can’t do anything about.

Although I haven’t tried Hard Mode yet, I expect the save editor can still make things much easier. In my current playthrough, in which I gave myself a mountain of money, I find myself with a lot of spare time each day. Here are the steps I used to get to this point.

  1. Use the save editor to give yourself as much money as you can.
  2. Buy yourself as much food as you can carry, preferably ones high in EXP (i.e. burgers, hot dogs, and doughnuts).
  3. Find and engage a weak enemy in a fight. Reduce the enemy team to one, then spend every turn eating and belly rubbing. Repeat until your team levels up to max.

Do all of this, and you’ll find yourself both stupidly rich and fully leveled up in no time. Without the need to spend in-game hours grinding for money and EXP, the rest of the game is much easier to manage,

Actually, that reminds me. Vale City puts my save files somewhere goofy, instead of just… In the folder where the game is.

Anyone remember where that is?

Does anybody know how to beat the three scientists once you become the mayor ?

go up to the maximum, to level 10 of fatness, go to school and get the improved forms, with it you should be able to defeat it, in any case remember that there are foods that improve defenses and attacks. Also remember to have all the clothes to have the fusion

I’m on day 26 and Im only level 8 so I can’t get to level 10 within the time period.

Do you know any fast way to level up other than the restaurant??

check the comments above, just talk about it " BlakLite"

The restaurant is kind of a waste of time and money. Especially when your characters are at higher levels. It’s really there more for low level characters or to just fill the BP on the cheap, you just don’t get very much exp from it.
If you want to level up quickly stuff them full of pie, doughnuts and check the online store for when they sell $100 cupcakes. I usually reserve the cupcakes for Amy because she always lags behind Lillico and Jess in my game. Amy never loses BP outside of battles which really works against her more than anything and doesn’t really fit her character. I never understood why Narukami made her that way.
