Great game! I swear that every time I played certain mini-games the resulting unexpected image would be larger than the last time I saw it… :stuck_out_tongue:

Could be a fun future idea for a bonus with certain minigames like the pipes or the pump…

The Poke-r Gut! need a password to view, I don’t kown it.

It doesn’t matter. Now it is realised.

Really really delightful!! We could have used your wario Ware-ing instincts on Huge Hallows 4 :o

My favourite reward screens are the soda and the pizza ones!

@drxprime Honestly I like that idea a lot! Maybe down the road I’ll make a sequel and have them get larger over time!

@Daftsoul319 My bad, it was still being worked on at that time. Once the Gain Jam is over, I wont be able to edit this page anymore, so I thought it would be a good idea to just add the link as normal

@UrgUrgUrg I would have loved that so much!! Let me know if you ever need a hand, I’d be happy to help out! Glad you enjoyed the game though! Gotta say those two are probably my favorite too (along with the love potion one)

Cool idea! The art’s great all around and there’s a nice variety of microgames. Not sure why classic mode doesn’t have any lives, though…

The door microgame is way too difficult to beat on such a short notice. Even when I take a screenshot of it and inspect it afterwards, it still takes a while to find the one tiny change between the three. It worked in WarioWare, because there the odd one out was very obviously different.

@pornucopia Thanks so much! Definitely inspiration from WarioWare. As for the doors minigame, it was actually ‘technically’ the first game I added to WeightWare, and didnt have a chance to fully perfect it. However, there are 5 different variations: 2 on the knob, 2 on the hinges, and one on the window

I thought the door mini-game was fine. It took a bit to know what to look for, but I don’t remember having too much trouble with it. The potion mixing one or whatever that popped up in the chaotic mode was the one I didn’t figure out at a glance, but I never saw it in the regular mode. Does it only show up in that mode?

@drxprime Nope, just some weird luck  currently there are 12 minigames (ill add more after the jam) and each minigame appears in both Classic and Hardcore mode

Cool, good to know. Really weird luck then, as I played the normal mode a few times and made it fairly far after 2 or 3 runs, as I wasn’t sure if something special happened after making it pass 10 or something and seeing each game once or whatnot (at least I assumed I had seen most of the games).

Maybe use a minigame “deck” in code? So, you won’t see a duplicate minigame until you’ve at least seen each once?

@drxprime Firstly, thank you so much for the feedback, I always appreciate it! I did code in that a minigame wont reappear until 3 other minigames are completed (the last 3 minigames youve played wont show up) I wouldve loved to add in extra content (like a boss stage) but i only had so much to work with, with the 2 weeks given :disappointed:

This was a fun set of challenges, coming back after failing a challenge and getting to see the results the second time around was a nice little reward.

@Tomkatt98 I really appreciate that! Thank you!

One of my favourites from this jam! Warioware is one of my fav games, and you really knocked it out of the park with this recreation! My only complaint is there isn’t more of it

@Plant_Planterson I thought a WarioWare inspired game would fit perfectly into the ‘Unexpected Outcomes’ theme, plus its one of my favorites too for its weirdness and uniqueness haha. And thank you for the kind words! Once the Jam is over, I’ll be releasing a new version with 2 additional minigames, custom mode, artbook and android version

Good point:
-Really varied games.
-Lots of various art.
-Quick games to play in a moment of break with a score for this overrun.
-Music in the theme.

Point to rework:
-A small scenario that follows the lead could have been interesting. Nothing too elaborate. Like in Warrio Ware where he just finds a console on the ground and sees the potential money he can make there. A link is missing to tie everything together.
-Nothing else. The style is enough in itself and I haven’t encountered any bugs.

General point of view: The style is nice and the mini games are easy to play. The Warrio ware style is respected but the little thing that makes it a really crazy game is missing. Afterwards it was created in two weeks and the result was more than honorable.
Thank for your Work.
