Just curious to those who actually tried to gain weight or how far they actually went.
Were there any regrets in how you felt while gaining, or achievement.
Could also share stories on how someone else gained in front if you over time.

Currently trying to gain weight, but due to a job that keeps me moving quite a bit, and not being able to eat a bunch in one sitting, it’s pretty slow going. But my goal is currently 200, and I’m almost there. 180ish in April
I know this post is old, but I just so happened to stumble upon is. I want to share my gaining story!
For the last 4 years, I have been gaining large amounts of weight in short periods of time, then maintaining that weight until I decide I want to gain more. So far, I have gained almost 240 pounds.
Four years ago, I accidentally gained some weight. Before the shutdown bc of covid, I was 120lbs. From April 2020 to September 2020, I had managed to gain 50lbs. I haven’t paid it much mind, but one day I finally realized just how much weight I had gained. My belly was starting to poke out from my clothes, making it the most noticeable part of my gain. I contemplated losing the weight, but I never put in the effort to it.
I managed to stay around the 170 range until April 2021. Randomly, I decided that I wanted to gain more weight. I had grown fond of my new weight, so I figured there’s no harm in another 10 pounds. But that 10 pounds turned into 20, then 30, then 50… By August of 2021, I was 220lbs. I was already huge compared to my former self.
I took another break on intentionally gaining until mid February of 2022. By then, I had accidentally gained another 10lbs, making me 230lbs. I decided I wanted more. I wanted to gain 25lbs in 5 weeks, 5 pounds a week. I ate, and ate, and ate… I would eat until my belly was bloated and I was breaking heavy. Needless to say, I reached my goal about a week early, putting me at 255lbs by mid March. So far, I had gained 135lbs in a little less than 2 years, more than doubling my starting weight. I was nearly unrecognizable, but I wasn’t finished.
Now last summer is when I really got gluttonous. I decided do give up on goals and just pig out. I bought an appetite enhancer and ate until I physically couldn’t anymore. I started in March 2023 at 265lbs and ended in August 2023 at 335lbs. Since then, I have slowly gained around 25ish pounds. I don’t think I’m done gaining, either. I’d love to reach 400lbs by this time next year.
I have gotten huge. My belly is definitely the most noticeable part of my gain, but my arms are also flabby, simply one of my thighs the size of one slighly chubby persons waist, my back rolls are multiplying, my double chin is very noticeable… but my belly takes up nearly my whole lap when I’m sitting. I can’t wait until it takes up my whole lap
As for regrets, I have none other than I wish I started gaining sooner! I absolutely loveee getting fatter and I cannot wait to blimp up again soon
Now that’s a warming story to see. Glad you felt comfortable with gaining unintentionally.
