So far it has been the thing that has worked the best for me.
So Question after completing the cat quest is that it until the next update? as can’t go though the captain or the guards on the left side of the residential area.

If you’ve done everything in the residential area:Clearing the bar’s basement, the cat quest, the abandoned house, the mimic house and Meri/Pipi’s quest.
You should have an event trigger outside to start the next section.

You know what’s really hard?
Giving previews of the new build but EVERYTHING is a spoiler of something.
Update is going along, I’d really like to get this out before the end of year. No promises though.

So Christmas was a little more chaotic than normal this year, but I did manage to get some work done.
Another boss fight and it’s corresponding events done. One last boss fight to do and then it’s just events and a little mini dungeon to finish.

Currently playing the new update. Making me smile, which is all that matters, but I do feel like its kind of going off-track from the original spirt of the game. Random encounters in a game with no EXP feels…offf, so I’m glad Escaping is 100% full proof.

The random encounters were only there for two things:
Money for items/Bella’s new weapon. And cause I REALLY wanted to make a random encounter joke with the “ORC”

Okay then, finished this build.
Enjoyable stuff, found myself enjoying more of the jokes and scenarios this time around.
Gameplay felt weaker this time around, which wasn’t much a strong suit to begin with. The forest doesn’t really have much to it and is a pain to navigate, Ika’s gun gimmick is neat but not really all that interesting, and the major boss fights have WAAAAAAYYYYY too much health, oh my god.
Will say, the final moment of the build was a WONDERFUL surprise. Those full body sprites are really nice (though the 3-frame limit isn’t doing them any favors…)! Can’t wait to see what you got planned fro them.

can anyone give me a save file that has items I soft locked myself at the skeleton fight and my previous save was before the bridge and I don’t want to go through both of those tanky fights again.
edit: I brute forced it but still it would be better to lessen the health worst thing to have in an rpg is to make the fights a chore
also there’s a bug were if the blood explodes the orc will keep its regen making it impossible to spawn another slime

so i know this is gonna be a dumb question, seeing as how i’m the only one that seems to be asking it…but is there any way to pause the scrolling of the text in the scenes? I’m a very slow reader and i just can’t keep up with it
I don’t know of any way to pause it, and even put it on the slowest speed possible.
It’s why I’ve avoided putting in the big scrolling text blocks from then on.
Here’s all of it down below for an easier reading experience:
Summary
It didn’t take long for the drunken halfling to start
shoving whatever food she could grab into her greedy
little maw.
The party tray from the inn was an assortment of
roasted pork pieces and cubes of various fancy cheeses.
Wil took a handful of pork and wrapped it around one of
the cubes, taking it down in just a few bites. She
continued this method until the entire tray was empty,
and her gut had taken the brunt from it’s contents.
What had just been a minor beer belly earlier, had
managed to jut it’s way out a few inches and start to
sag over her panties. With the help of Bella’s power
of Gluttony, the food was also slowly being converted
to fat. Wil’s hips joined her gut and extended out
just a bit with newly added poundage. Her rear would
now have the slightest jiggle whenever the former
adventurer let out any burps or hiccups.
The halfling patted her slowly growing stomach and
tried her best to reach for the leftovers given to
Bella by the elderly couple running the Item shop.
“L-little hic help here?” she stammered, giving Bella
a helpless pout.
The ebon haired goblin took a step towards the food
and plucked a handful of omelette, tempting the
halfling with it before popping it into her own mouth.
“Shit! That old man can cook! These are the best
eggs I’ve ever had!” Bella exclaimed before grabbing
another helping. The flavours were exquisite! Egg
seemed to melt on her tongue and mingle with the array
of fried rice and meats, as the sauce gave it just the
added spice kick it needed. She had to stop herself
before grabbing even more.
“No no no, you’re giving in to it Bella” she whispered
to herself. “You need to keep feeding her, not
yourself!”.
“Hey! hic stop hoggin al- hic all the food to
yerself!” Wil said while leaning as far as she could
onto the table, reaching for the leftovers herself.
Her newly puffy frame squishing against the table.
Bella picked up the remaining omelette, along with
several sausage links and toast from the rest of the
bag and took them to her drunken victim.
The cyan haired halfling gleefuly grabbed omelette and
tipped the plate into her mouth, slowly pushing all
that remained down her throat. She frowned as she
eyed the toast and pushed it to the side.
“I dun want any bread, it’ll hic kill my buzz faster”
Bella took the toast and began to meekly nibble at it,
“Fine, I’ll have it. No use wasting food”, she eyed
the halflings middle as Wil started on the sausage.
Still connected, the multiple sausage links marched
like soldiers towards the hungry halflings face, only
to be decimated by mashing teeth and buried in her
waiting gut.
“Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp!” the halfling echoed through
the house. A satisfied look came to her face as she
sat back and rubbed her stomach. New fluff added to
her frame thanks to Gluttony’s blessing.
