Going to be releasing Pre V0.5 versions on this post, so anyone who wants to sample Zone 2 and help find bugs can do so. I will edit this as I add the events.

Known bugs: Getting a voucher from the restaurant doesn’t enable their use, only the arguing aliens event does. (Fixed for next release)

3.3:
—So much house keeping I won’t type it out here, but should be the most stable of the current releases.
—ABBI has increased/changed functionality. Her “condition check” is now as follows:

Tells you if you are above or below 25% remaining Stomach capacity. (Changed from 50%)
Tells you if you are on your last wind of energy (Small handful of actions remaining)

3.2 - Fixed shower descriptor clearing, also added an extra line for the new weight level.
3.1 - Fixed typos (both versions), Fixed sleep bug with Energy Test version.

—New energy system version testable: For anyone willing to try it. If you do try it, and decide to go back to current style for now. Just download the normal version and in the “Update” area of options, there is menu there to reset your character’s energy info. Please use the poll above to tell me if its too hard/easy etc. Certain events effect energy lopsidedly, so try and keep RNG in mind one way or the other.

—One new weight level: 1000+ lbs, New description etc.

—New wander event(s) for zone 2: Casual restaurant - You can use vouchers to get meals/food. Regardless of voucher inventory, there is a rest option to have a small RNG chance at a voucher. Also a small RNG chance to get a voucher after you order food.

—New wander event for zone 2: Arguing aliens - ‘Help’ solve an argument, RNG chance to get voucher(s)

—Final RNG event with Experimentation Lab technician: Need to have the ‘UMP’ fixed - Medium RNG chance to trigger if precursor scene is triggered. So full RNG chain is… Experimentation Lab wander scene → Lab requests help/shares lunch with you scene → Shares Sandwich with you scene → New scene, gives him a name, plus more lunch for the PC.

As always, yell at me about any bugs or typos.

—Proper zone 2 description: Also added a “Look around” option to Lab and zone 2 at the very bottom of the action list. Just brings up the first time descriptions incase anyone ever wanted to read them again.
—New wander event for zone 2: You find an open crate and shenanigans ensue (One extra tag along event if your character is heavy enough)
—New wander event for zone 2: You come across an alien who defines themselves as a “hopeless romantic” and shenanigans ensue. She regails you some very ‘not so original’ stories, which are just easter eggs (for some sweet games from WG’s website and elsewhere) for those who get the references pretty much.
—Two wander events I set up for Zone 2 fit better for Zone 3 : But are done for when we get there, sorry for only two events this release
—Messed around with the game ‘appearance/style’: Hard to explain (easy to see), but hopefully enjoyable. I added more clear separation between events and the navigation menu for most, if not all scenes in the game.

Along side a visible line break to scenes that are ongoing (cafeteria/event hall) and to random events where you met some manner of additional trigger, making it more obvious you did/got something extra. The crate event just added will be the best example of this new style. If anyone doesn’t want to science for the little extra dialogue, it happens when you are at least 1050 lbs.

Known bugs currently: Will update as found.

Note: When I do an event, I intend for them all to be short narrative bits like the ones from the original version. No scrolling required etc, only a few sentences. I always write more than intended, so sorry for any walls of text.

—1.1: Fixed wander freely event bug.

Known bugs currently: Just some typos to be fixed on next release

—Real Plus+ and Race Test versions have been combined. If you see " $human " in your character description, go to the options menu in the bathroom and just click the Human button. Never have to do so again going forward.
—Added the first Zone 2 event. You can think of it as the cafeteria of this section. It is similar in function, and is accessed by chance as well. Like the cafeteria, the heavier you are, the easier it is to be noticed. As with the cafeteria, you can obtain 100% chance with enough weight.
—Quest to repair the Universal Meal Prepper is done. You begin the quest inside the new venue via the ’ mingle ’ option. The dialogue should make it pretty clear where to go from there. Do note, you will need to have ABBI synced up with Doctor Halessie to finish the quest. If you haven’t done so yet, this is from checking your messages the day after you have received ADDI’s message.
—Universal Meal Prepper: It only has one food option at the moment. You receive a daily allowance for it, just as you do your stasis fridge items. (They are separate allowances)

Bug fix: Redid the Post Treatment day count adjustment tool. I recommend taking a look at it, the old one if it was used skyrocketed your post days endlessly. The tool will tell you, your current post day count (One of my test characters had 15k Post treatment days, this was obviously not intentional).

@yanni I didn’t touch anything with the name screen besides removing flavor text, so that’s no good. But I will see what I can do.
@Cordite Thank you for finding more typos. They are fixed with release 2
@Shadow67890 Its fine, just right click on the file wherever it is on your computer → go to “properties” → change the “Opens with” to your web browser and that should be it — I only have played the game in Chrome, so I cannot speak to any other browser limitations that may exist.

Encountered this when doing the “wander freely” action:

You waddle off into the facility with no clear destination in mind, curious to see what’s going on.

As you are wandering around,

Error: <>: passage “wandervent 10” does not exist

Edit: A couple of other minor typo notes:

“(current situation not withstranding)” in the writing that accompanies the message regarding completed repair of the UMP.

ABBI’s take on your current situation lacks quotation marks around the following and has a typo (bolded):

> You are dangerously obease and past the healthy weight for a female human. I recommended immediate change in dietary and exercise habits.

I’m liking the new content and what seems to be the direction things are headed in. Thanks for sharing your additions.

Random small bug: I’m unable to pass the name entry screen on mobile. It doesn’t register the mobile enter/return key. This was working in the last version I played (.4.2). Maybe change it to a link button like all the other inputs in the game?

Forgive my lack of knowledge on all things computer related but how do you play this? I’m not exactly sure what to do with the html…sorry :persevere:. That aside really cool project! It’s to see you continuing this after it stopped getting updated. :+1:

Energy system seems fine? Some days are short, some days are long, and that seems fine. I could see some folks being disappointed that can’t fully stuff themselves in a given day as easily once at high capacities, but I don’t think that’s a huge (so to speak) deal.

Not sure if it’s a bug, but choosing to spend the day in bed above a certain weight/hunger no longer forces you up and out in hunger. Relatedly, snoozing for the day on the couch has you wake up in bed.

Also, some more minor typographical notes:

“Thus they set forth to see what secrets were out there, waiting to be discoverd.” In the Quistis story about the land of abundance.

“The sheer amount of girth around their frame, mixed with your torso’s fatty sides who have taken it upon themselves to be sizable cushions for the weighted limbs.” In the new 1000+ PC description - there doesn’t seem to be main clause verb in the current configuration? “The sheer amount of girth around their frame, mixed with your torso’s fatty sides, have taken it upon themselves to be sizable cushions for the weighted limbs” does work grammatically.

“You accept the pastry, as you silently wonder who could have possibility contacted them.” For the Lab ‘ADDI sends some food for you’ event - should be possibly, right?

“The chair itself would have been way too small if it was your first day in the facility.” When helping out at the lab facility – should this be too large? Though I may be misunderstanding.

“It would be awfully rude to refuse after all” Same event as above, just missing a period (or other punctuation) at the end.

"Seeing now harm in it you chug it down." For the energy drink event in Residential - should be “no.”

Got all the typos/phrases fixed up, as well as the couch bug (was a side effect from switching around the energy stuff)

—In terms of stuffing yourself for anyone else reading this, and is worried about it. I am trying to have ample food in the PC’s room. As of right now with the UMP and Fridge, you can get 60 Units of Food just from all those. That is the equivalent of 30 of the Doctor Pastry Events, or 60 of the Energy Bar Event.

So if you cannot stuff yourself with all that and the PC’s day wandering. Then it is by intention, it keeps stomach capacity under control. More food and filling options will come as I add content, making growing heavier and stretching your stomach easier.

New update is looking great! Been having a blast with this game ever since it first came out, and I’m so glad to see someone breathing new life in to it.

Only have found one bug so far:

With “Messy Eater” enabled, taking a shower does not remove the mess descriptor in the ‘Examine Self’ and ‘Look in Mirror’ scene.

Other than that, fantastic job!

I got it fixed now, It slipped my mind to add that in for this release. Threw in a new line for the new weight level as well.

Another bug I’m just noticing as well.

Staying in bed all day and waking up from the couch does not trigger for ABBI’s events to refresh for the day.

Okay, I fixed the couch not refreshing ABBI (I’ll wait to upload that with the next fix, since its rather specific to achieve)

The bed should be working fine right now regarding ABBI, since you can’t do anything for the day if you stay in bed. BUT, if you didn’t tell me that, I wouldn’t have looked at the stay in bed option and saw that the current option is not as ‘rewarding?’ / too ‘harsh?’ on the PC, imo. So thank you very much for that.

Ill be on stand by for the next couple hours (1am est - as of post) to make sure this is the most stable release. Then I have to sleep, bad timing sadly. Ill be trying to find bugs in the meanwhile.

I had tried to leave as much of the original processes intact during this whole Plus+ venture , but it just wasn’t working out as PC’s got more complex. This release (3.3) I rearranged, and changed a good amount of the processes to my own order or format.

So I am hoping after this release or next, it will be much smoother sailing as I rework more backend things into my style.

Sorry it took so long, I thought it was much more complex than it actually was. So I feel pretty bad about that, my apologies once again.

Whats the meta strategy for losing weight? Tried eating one sandwich a day, then do exercise until exhaustion, then repeat, but that aint fast enough

I never played or tested the weight loss route that is in the game, but I just looked at the exercise option and how weight loss is calculated when sleeping in more in detail and it really doesn’t do enough, so weight is loss is very slow. Practically impossible even. I want exercise to matter for people who want a delay the inevitable/slow weight gain. So I’m gonna give it buff for next release. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
