2 - I do have shower scenes with affinity NPCs coming when the PC gets a bigger/proper living area, meaning a bigger shower to boot - since fitting anyone in the the shower with you past 1000 lbs I felt would kinda ‘disrespect’ the players size. If you want to explore this idea, I would never say no to seeing what you had in mind, worst case, your stuff can augment my own.
1 - The contributor who wrote the shower scenes for body coverings does make some references to what you can reach, but nothing specifically dedicated to that idea - it would also give me some material for default shower descriptions as well, so feel free to send me that as well.
I love all the content so far it has been so fun walking around and getting all the interactions i can find! I look forward to any future content. Keep it up!
hey guys I got a few question 4 the game
1- so my character now at 1399lbs but except the doc and the party event I still didn’t get other event in game, so am I stuck or is just the game?
2- I recently change a new phone is there a way that I can transfer the date to my new phone?
an idea 4 the game (u can take this idea or not)
is that add clothing to wear after u break ur cloth and if u want it u need 2 ask doc with it, also in the late game doc can let u choice to wear a stretchy cloth or not.
@SHELL_Ac Thank you very much for the kind words! I am glad you are enjoying it~
@no_name There are more events then just those - All the events are found via the ‘wander’ commands and with the passage of in game days and by visiting the doctor. Click them enough and for long enough, eventually you see everything etc. The current content plateau is once you are in chapter 3 you have the ability to trigger/run into all current content.
In regards to the clothing - This is already in the game, its unlocked in chapter 3, its just one outfit right now.
Would it be possible to add a gender toggle for the npcs?
Edit: Totally forgot to say thanks for creating a great addition to Abducted! Really great work!!
Edit 2: There is a ‘return’ option missing from the UMP’s beverage section, dunno if anyone has pointed that out yet
Edit 3: When starting the tour by talking with Abbi, there is still a chance to encounter Addi, thus preventing you from starting the tour, even when talking to Abbi on subsequent days
That does remind me how I always wondered what happened to the underwear.
Just a simple thought, as the only mention of it was when the starting clothes are ripped.
If it’s still there 'till the end, I want to know who made em cuz that’s quality!
-I also appreciate you finding those bugs - I thought I had fixed the Tour issue, but it seems it still had a quirk going for it. The coffee beverage thing is silly and will be fixed as well. -Thanks again.
-A gender toggle for NPCs would be a lot of work - but mainly its an issue/system that would get harder to manage as I add more npcs as we go along. As of right now there are 3 (4ish) new npcs that 100% coming into the game in future updates, so things could really spiral out of control.
Do take some solace in knowing that one of these NPCs will be customizable by the player. Gender (Sex) being one of the things you choose.
@wtf Some people share that sentiment with you. While I am happy and plan to keep the current rate, I do have a few ideas to help ‘streamline’ things that I may introduce, so there is less clicking here and there.
@Draukel
-Head canon A: They are holding on strong deep within you.
-Head canon B: You ate them in your sleep.
-Head canon C: “There is no underwear”
-Head canon D: Yes
Since everyone is sharing their ideas for this project, I thought i’d share my ideas too
So i thought when the player eats all the stuff in its status fridge, maybe add an event to call up Doctor Halessie(or any other NPC with a +2 affinity) to add more food to the fridge and or help the player with the food.
And also some sort of luck based minigame at the residential and recreation side of the facility, and the prize for example a buffet ticket.
Got some Ideas myself that I think would be fun. This is a long post. Be warned.
Summary
You can get so addicted to The Grove that it affects your interpersonal relations. The good dino doc notices an odd odor to your breath from frequent gorging, as well as the fact you keep talking about things she’s never encountered. Addi just thinks you’re slowly going loony and tries to, snarkily, get you seen by the next best thing to a psychiatrist. The shrimp lady thinks you should write a story about this place you always want to talk about. A toggle-able feature, but I think it would work better if not. Can have a different result if you don’t eat the Grove’s fruit.
You can get so fat you get marooned when you stand. This would be a toggle-able feature, but happens sooner for feral characters, and taur if it ever becomes a species option. What happens is that your belly, if you’re a feral/taur, or your legs, if you’re a biped, get too big for your feet to reach the ground enough for you to stand. It isn’t game over, instead, if you’re immobile for long enough, the good doc, with help from the maintenance team, will offer to build you a bit of mobility equipment, which is just a padded platform with robotic legs that you control with your mind via the collar that goes with it.
Toggle-able options for neediness, shyness, greed/gluttony, and/or acting spoiled. Affects mainly major interactions, like the ones with important characters during major scenes, but mostly is just passive and shows up when random NPCs interact with you from time to time. Does affect The Grove all the time, though, so if you toggled on Shy, which is to say Shy is a primary descriptor of your character’s personality, The Grove will be a pinch more bold when touching/interacting with you.
Slime monsters. These are only encountered after the explosion that happens before the third part, in the first area. These are seen as a problem to those who encounter them, but when you interact with them, they just want you to eat them. Talking to the doc about them makes her puzzled. If you don’t swallow, but hold one in your mouth, and head to the doc’s office with it in your mouth, but only after you ask about them prior, you can spit it out in her office for her to see. Raises affinity with her and gives her something to study.
Portable UMP. This is only possible after you interact with the matinence crew enough times in your home and either in the canteen or at the party, after having repaired the UMP and gotten the powder/stuff that it makes food with, to which one member will comment on how much you eat and ask if you want an on the go solution. Functions like one of those backpacks that can store water that you can drink from, but with a densely caloric slurry. Minimally increases fullness, and minimally increases energy, but not enough to do more than make it so that you can have one more wild encounter than usual, assuming you managed to get eight servings or so of slurry out of it. Low chance to malfunction and stuff you into a food coma wherever you are at early on, and if you’ve gone to The Grove with it, the chance gets higher with each visit due to water damage. May need to be serviced regularly.
If many encounters with the treents resulting in you becoming a storage vessel for them enough times, you can get mutated accordingly.
You can get stuck in the door to your room. The maintenance crew has to wrap a strap around your doughy center and winch you out.
You can pass out from a food coma in The Grove if you enter at half or below energy. If not, you have a 1/4th chance of doing this naturally through gorging.
if you go to the bathroom and change your race etc, you can press feral race sample at some point. this should give you (after you fill in all the descriptors) a feral race by choice (its all the same dialogue though, so like a feral snake wouldn’t work too well)
incase you completely missed the race customisation part of this game:
go to the bathroom and go to “options”, then press “update menu”, so you can go to “sex and race information” (you can edit your looks anytime) then lastly you should head to “race menu”, and all the customisation should be ready waiting for you…
i personally dont find it the best feral descriptor and kind of misses some important points, but still fun nonetheless.
@Squizzzi Restocking the fridge is something I am sure I will have in some capacity at some point. I just am holding off on doing that till later on down the line (Since the PC will need more food to become full then etc)
I was actually thinking about a game-sort of event for Zone 4, not sure if it will make it into the initial six events for Zone 4. But knowing this is something people would like makes me happy.
@SonicMutou Don’t be sorry! I love hearing people’s thoughts and ideas~ They can augment my own and help me think outside of my own brain case. Thanks for the list.
@Yo-Yo Yeah you can. As Zoe said, bathroom menus have all you need in terms of updating your PC if you missed it during the start.
@zoewithboerenkool I am very sorry the feral descriptors are not to your liking. I personally enjoy feral races when it comes to fantasy races of the like etc, so I wrote things in the way I envision it.
@Draukel The underwear will go down in history as one of those
tales that people will question if its a fairytale or a tale warped by time.
oh dont get me wrong: its not nearly bad or anything. it just feels wrong that at abt 1250 lbs your belly is just starting to drag along the ground, all the while you supposedly have the same weight mass ratio as a normal human. (with that i mean that 120 lbs for example is a healthy weight, feral or non feral. so if you were a massive dragon you’d be criminally underweight even though the games thinks not)
Yeah it is just different interpretations of the weight distribution between us etc. If I am sticking to the games original lore (meaning nothing major in size) I 100% see that as the point the belly would be finally making contact with the ground.
it’s for the best to have a rather average size regardless
bigger or smaller pc, may it be anthro or feral, would cause many situations to be drastically changed (ex kobold can’t reach as much as someone else).
