Abducted Plus+ (A WGHFY Story)

I hope that everybody likes this one!

As for my part contributing to it, I’m jokingly calling it the “unleash the furries” module. I’m very happy with the fur/scales/feathers toggles, and grateful for Tosh’s hard work implementing them. Much of my writing effort was focused on the use of optional descriptors in scenes, so you’ll see aspects of your custom race character reflected with inserted lines in both old and new material. Existing custom toggles (burping, tails, messy, etc) also got a number of new lines in old scenes, too!

Very much recommend trying a new character and giving the new custom options a spin, so you can see what’s been added even in the early game.

Mild spoiler: the new fur/scales/feathers toggles also include weight-tiered content in self-examine and in the shower! A new character will get to see the progression in action.

The chapter 2 transistion doesn’t seem to be happening when I pass the 750 mark? Instead getting out of bed gives me this:

Error: cannot execute macro <>: unable to parse macro argument "“preenterpost”: unterminated double quoted string

<<goto "preenterpost>>

So I’m gussing there’s a missing parenthesis there.

Loving the new stuff added, especially the ADDI stuff like the shower stuffing.

The new stuff is pretty cool! Especially the grove. Addiction is always hot, especially when it comes with physical side effects. Though I’ll admit to chickening out and testing the consequences of eating the fruit before reverting to an older save. Still, the implications of having a part of you that assuredly isn’t you is very exciting, and if there’s extra content planned (or already implemented) for characters who accepted the grove’s fruit I’ll definitely play around with it.

Also, since it seemed I was starting to reach a capacity that I couldn’t consistently fill every day, I decided to try exercising to gain back lost stamina. And it takes forever! Maybe that’s the intent, to be a long term goal to work towards, but with it being so inconsistent on top of not having any real indication of your progress on top of it cutting so much into your time and weight both, it feels like you’re better off not bothering. Would you consider toning down the requirements to regain stamina a little, or adding a little more indication for just how much the player has recovered?

I also never managed to find the new Automeal recipes. Does it have something to do with the cafeteria chef? I talked with him quite a few times, but both options never seemed to lead anywhere.

It’s not a terrible spoiler, but I will say that getting new automeal recipes actually comes from a random encounter in the lab area when you wander around! You’ll be approached by somebody you’ve met before, and they’ll ask you to help them decrypt new recipes. If you unlock all available recipes, meeting them in the lab hallway is then replaced with a new event.

At present, the cafeteria cook doesn’t have any new content. Though as a teaser, the cafeteria might get some new events in the future, related to the maintenance crew.

Exercising to get your stamina back is pretty hard, imo, if you let yourself get too big without having done it much as a regular routine starting in chapter 2.

Edit: @gnomemercy118 Oof, I am sorry you ran into that issue. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I feel a bit bad for suggesting new characters, only to have you run into that problem.

Been loving the new update so far. The outside area is definitely really interesting. Anyways, i found a bug. (don’t worry, I’m sure this time lol)

This happened after talking the cafeteria guy, him giving me the same sulking attitude, at which point I decided to walk around the cafeteria for the first time in ages to see if there was a clue or something. As you can see, the options displayed twice, and the line with guard showed up next to one (which imo shouldn’t even show up in chapter 3 considering your status but it makes sense it’s still there cause there isn’t any reason to roam the room after meeting the maintenance team.) Anyways, keep up the good work.

It’s caused by preenterpost having a " mark before it in the code, so it bugs out. You can remove it yourself by opening the file in a text editor, searching for "preenterpost>><</if>>\
and deleting the " at the front. That seems to get it working again.

I also found a minor bug in the Chapter 2 transition, there’s an orphaned /if end statement, albeit one that doesn’t seem to do anything, it just throws up an error.

Here’s a link to a version where I’ve done the edits to get rid of those errors. I probably haven’t caused things to break horribly, but no guarantees.

Also, can I just say it’s annoying to put HTML code into this HTML text parser? It keeps resolving it to actual characters instead of the base code you get in a plain-text parser like Notepad. First world problems right here.

Hello there, first time commenter who has enjoyed the game and its content so far.
However, I do seem to have reached the requirement for transition to chapter 3 (ABBI fixed, has Halessie come to me with the emotion heavy behavior, and said to chat with ABBI to begin the transition , but yet all I get is usual interaction with the NPC supposed to start it.

I do wonder if I should simply wait more and daily interact or if it’s not supposed to go this way.

@gnomemercy118 Thank you for finding that, I accidently deleted part of it when I moved some stuff around.

@sasuga20000 I am glad to hear it, I think she is one of the more popular ones heh, people love that rogue AI stuff.

@noneexpect The grove was an adventure to make haha, the amount of background mechanics being thrown around was very fun to set up~ As of right there are handful of extra/variation in scenes when you get the vines (If you want to see them to know if you wanna vine it up)-> These are some basic counts. Not sure if I forgot anything. 1.5 Scenes/Variations during wake up, 3 Scenes/Variations during the grove, 1 Scenes/Variations from the outside portion of the restaurant. More will come in time of course.

In regards to bonus stamina - It is the intent to be very slow, since it gives something to do with excess weight over the current max weight level. I did add to the statistics menu for .72 (after reading your post) instead of just telling if you have regained it all or not it will now also tell you are if you are at least 50%. I made halessie’s office/home visit work outs have a chance as well for V.7~

The bonus stamina really is ultimately a long term / work into your schedule couple times a week sort of thing. It also allows me to the extend the number of weight levels I can fit into the game. It’s not perfect, but Ill keep an eye on it.

@memes Thank you very much for finding that, So many weird bugs I never found when testing me bad.

@Zombieguy223 Thanks for the heads up about the quotation mark, made it easier to zone in on.

@Draukel Some weird stuff happened to the Chapter stuff for someone reason this update, let me take a peak at it right now. Free free to DM me your save incase my tests do not bare any fruit.

Edit: @Draukel While I look into just to make sure. You hit the ‘Chat with ABBI’ option right? Not just brought ABBI’s menu.

Edit 2 @Draukel I just tested it on my end and it seems to be working fine. if its not what I mentioned before (The chat thing) Send me your save so I peek into its data.

I do chat with her
daily, to be exact, before and after the notice. Aside from usual shenanigans, nothing had happened.

I just want to chime in and say, while I agree with the sentiment on principal, part of what makes the postgame so intriguing to me is specifically not becoming helpless despite your massive normally-immobilizing weight. Testing the limits of that, finding out whether there’s a limit to what the treatment can do and you’re eventually pinned under however many thousands of pounds of your own bulk and totally reliant on your overly-handsy captors to keep you fed; or if your potential to eat and grow is now truly infinite and no matter how much fat and heft you pile atop yourself you still have all the strength and drive you need to carry yourself to your next meal - well, I’m excited to see where things are headed either way

I definitely agree with the sentiment in certain circumstances. It’s exciting territory to dip into.

That said, I like the slow burn nature of the progression as it currently exists. Exploring the alien environment and community, discovering how your mutated bulk and new stable healthy weight is completely new to you. Eventually other members of your old species will hardly recognize you as one of their own!

I also like pursuing relationships with the NPCs being factored in. The idea of having them dote on you and pamper you more and more as your appetites grow more extreme than ever before, and your body becomes bigger and softer than was originally physically possible…imagine having a dedicated relationship with them, so that you always have someone to care for you and feed you and enjoy your body with you.

Basically, if there’s some sort of “blobby” element, and more extreme WG options (hello, hose feeding!) and body worship in mind, I’d like it to be a nice reward that you work towards. There’s still a lot to be done in the game in the future, and hitting the limits of your body’s mobility again too soon would pretty much lock you out of a lot of potential content.

I do like the idea of staving that eventuality off indefinitely by adding some kind of mobility aid when you’re out doing things, or hand waving a “pseudo-immobile” situation, where you could blob out and be stuck in place for several days until your gene-adapted body can somehow adjust and get you moving again. That’s a great period of time to get the “helplessly cared-for and fed” fantasy as the days go by.

Maybe even true immobility at the late stages, when there’s an option of temporarily counteracting it with science (should you want the ability to resume pursuing other game content if you choose. Pseudo-mobile this time around :joy:), or even as one possible sort of end-state for your character or something.

TL;DR You got a second lease on mobility already, and the uncertainty of when it might run out again is exciting.

I kind of wonder what’s actually worked on.

A lot of stuff can be, I’m sure some events/description will be rewritten, or zones would be more fluffed out. It’s rather exciting.

But I also wonder like… If something’s on the list, is it welcomed to have volunteering help?

If you look at the top post, there is actually a “contributor guideline” document near the bottom, for if you’d like to submit suggestions or write an outline for new material.

Hey, me again, no bug to report this time I just wanted to make a quick post to ask something, at what point do you think you’ll stop adding more weight descriptions? I ask because my character’s weight is absolutely skyrocketing, and I was concerned about continuing to play in fear I might skip a new description when it’s added by already being fat enough to reach the next one.

Unsure if it was planned of how many weight milestone descrption there’ll be

Best is to remember when was last one and try to…

Loose weight

To stay around last incorporated milestone.

Personally, I recommend keeping a spare save handy that’s at the current milestone, just in case.

As for fast weight loss, I think the most effective option is to exercise and try to trigger an event where Dr. Halessie offers to help you “push it to the limit”. That knocks off 25 lbs in a single event.

Edit: how heavy is your character, out of curiosity?

2186.38 lbs when i last weighed them. Probably not that crazy but certainly happened quite fast after the update.
