Crusader Kings 3: Weight Gain and Consequences

Yo, I am back. I am too lazy to read all new stuff, so whats new and? Have any changes been made to the mod? I am quite busy so I dont know if I am going to work on this mod again, just saying.

People are a bit confused on whether or not the mod works due to changes in the UI as well as some of the in game actions/perks being harder to find or being removed.

Most people are not sure what mods to run along side, the version of the game, and the load order of the mods

Alright I changed the ui file to the current version with the mod details.
gui.zip (18.1 KB)

This is only the gui file so just replace it with the old one file. For me the game is starting and loading fine, the mod seems to work for me, at least from my first impression. Loading order for me is all mods, then CBO and last wgac.

Hi, can you please send the rework version with the complete descriptor file for it?
I tried to fix it myself using everyone’s tips, but it failed and I don’t know how to make it work (0 knowledge on modding)

weight_gain_and_consequences.zip (443.0 KB)

Just place the .mod file in the mod folder and don’t forget to change the path in the file if you put the file in another folder.

Thanks, the mod now works for me

I have an odd issue where all the women have their boobs clipping through their clothes. Anyone get a similar bug?

So, I got confused while reading this whole thread. What should be combined with what so that weight and consequences works with modern versions? (just don’t write: “If you like C, put A, if you like D, put N”, I don’t fucking know what I need and I just need the most working solution)

There are of course a bunch of optional mods you can add to this like CFP and EPE if you use the correct compatches, but this is the most basic load order you’ll need.

As a general rule, any mod that adds new clothing items and/or messes with the character model in some way needs to be above Carnalitas, then their respective compatches, then the load order shown above. Then in between CBO CS and WGaC Rework you put the other CS compatches.

So, for example, if you were to play with Community Flavour Pack and Ethnicities & Portraits Expanded, the load order would be as follows:

If anything changes in future I’ll just edit this post and link to it, sending the same links over and over again is getting tiresome.

Can somebody help me? I’m using the latest version of the game, for the mods I use:

  • Carnalitas
  • CBO
  • CBO Unofficial Fix 1.8
  • CBO Compatible Skeleton
  • WGaC Rework

Typically, how does this mod work with new expansions? Might do another playthrough with the new DLC coming out soon, which focuses on unlanded characters.

Im not expecting new content, I just don’t want it to break the mods really haha

mod’s been broken for a long time now, almost as long as it has lacked updates, someone patched it a while back but I’m pretty sure that is also out of date at this point

I played it fairly recently with the latest community patch, it worked okay then

Everything works with the latest update, except the portrait editor which causes a CTD, and the wgac option in the decisions menu.

There is a easy and quick fix for that, just go to the decisions folder of the mod and change all instances where:

picture = place where picture is

to:

picture = {
reference = “gfx/interface/illustrations/decisions/decision_misc.dds”
}

It does not have to be “decision_misc.dds”, It can be any other picture, just be sure to fix the structure. Hope you have a great day.

If you wouldn’t mind, could you list the mods you’re using and the load order?

Hey it works thanks!

Hi guys. I’ve just found this site. I would like to download the mod for the current versión of CK3. Can someone help me?

I’ve got a quick hotfix version to make it somewhat functional with 1.13, but there are still a few errors with it. Weight calculations are all messed up and barely give you any weight gain/loss, but if you’re fine with debugging weight onto your characters (or using other mods) and want to see the events, here: WGaC_1.13_Hotfix.zip (387.3 KB)

My issues could also just be a conflict with another mod I’m using, but I run 200+ so I don’t want to go through them all and check.

Then I just have to download that link or how? I bought the game on steam, not sure if it changes anything
