I’m super new to all of this but are these files just updates to the mod and all we need to do is just replace your files with the old ones in the mod?
Thank you for all of your hard work!
Vocon thank you for all the hard work you have done on this mod.
For anyone interested in Base Weight, it is there to tell the player what the characters starting weight was when they first were “born” / “Created”.
Yep! I included the paths for each file in that post too. Let me know how it goes!
The settings might not be optimal, as that’s just the state it was in last time I was experimenting on it, but you can tweak them.
The genes_modified
and the weight_modifier
files would be the ones to change - the genes for each female bodytype’s min and max would be what you’d change in the genes file (do that control+F I mentioned in my last post), and the overweight_multiplier
and overweight_shape_multiplier
would be what you’d adjust on the modifier file where higher = more visual change as weight goes up.
I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking, but with debug mode on if you mouse over a character it will show their current weight and target weight. Target weight is what the character will change to over time, and is impacted by things like traits and events.
I don’t think there’s a way to check back in time to see what a character’s weight originally, besides checking their current weight when they were generated. You could save when you start the game and then load back to check what they used to weigh! If you control the character you’re interested in, the save preview image will have your character as they used to look, which is cool for before/after shots.
I know what Current and Target weights are. I am very aware of them.
All I mentioned was that Base Weight is the Character’s starting Weight. The Weight they got when they were created in the game. I am not 100% sure why the game needs to know the Characters Creation / Original Weight but that is what Base_Weight is. It is a value that never changes and always shares the value of the character’s starting / original weight. There was no question, nothing like that. Just a statement of what it is.
So your method of saving and reloading is redunant when all you need to do is check Base Weight to know what weight they were originally when they were first “Created”.
Oh, all right - I mistakenly read your original post as a strangely worded question. Didn’t mean to offend
It is alright. I just wanted to clarify what I meant.
does this mod also have consort/concubine content or is it exclusive to a spouse relationship?
I think it’s limited to spouse, but a lot of interactions with lovers as far as I can tell. This mod is more health and weight consequence related would love to see it.
that’s unfortunate considering homosexual marriage is not even supported lol
…I’m all for LGBTQ…but this game is in medieval Europe…they either hung or burned them, I mean you can mod it into the game and stuff if it’s for you. But the base game does not have that kind of stuff, I think the best you can do is make it tolerated in the base game.
I meant that as in the code cant even be modded to allow it, I know what they did and did not allow and the pragmatic as well as irrational reasons they did it lol
Huh didn’t know they hard coded that into the game, ck2 had a lot of homosexual mods
You can’t mod in Homosexual marriages either, the code doesn’t support it. And several cultures present in game did not view homosexuality as immoral (but homosexual marriage wasn’t a thing because marriage was mostly a means of diplomatic alliances which non-straight marriages wouldn’t be very useful for)
Ck2 had homosexual marriage mods I just didn’t know they hard coded homosexual marriage into the game effecting that.
I think the devs have mentioned patching it out from being hardcode disabled in an upcoming update. Pretty sure it hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s rumored to be coming with the Royal Court dlc/patch. Fingers crossed haha
It has been confirmed. They delayed the framework from this patch to next patch
Trying to install the better bodies mod is driving me nuts. It keeps saying that the mod file leads to something that doesn’t exist. i managed to fix the first required mod by moving it to the workshop folder while having the MOD file point to it from the documents MOD folder but the clothes files refuse to be fixed by this
do you have a mod folder in the my documents > paradox interactive > ck3 folder? if not make that, it is where all driver stored mods work, also load order is important and may be causing the game to prioritize a sub mod over the actual mod that should be first
