Has your computer done any recent updates or required time to download something recently, I mean this is starting to look more than just a browser issue. In my case my laptop updated to Windows 10, which rendered the browser I normally used unplayable with several games (from flash to online emulators to even games like ETD). I had to download Chrome to be able play some games but other still remained out of my reach. The issue resolved itself roughly a few months ago, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth over the stupidity of it.
It updated last month, but Iāve been having issues with the game longer than the last update. Iāve tried several other browser games, like on Newgrounds for example, and theyāve worked just fine, no issues with them like the one Iām having with Eat the dungeon.
When did the issues start exactly? Pinning that down will help us find a cause
This might be a bit tough to pin down, I want to say either back in April or May this year.
Do you have a phone or another computer to try to see if it works on that, to at least rule out whether the internet access you have could be an issue.
It seems to be working fine on my phone, surprisingly. The other characters are on screen and itās showing me the tutorial.
Is it possible you have some security feature like Norton running scans when youāre online, or perhaps maybe the security is running something in the background while the computer is on?
I have MalwareBytes running, That canāt be it, can it?
I turned it off and tried playing the game again, and no, the security running in the background isnāt the problem either.
Weāve had issues in the past with the Malwarebytes browser guard add on blocking image downloads, but nothing with the regular windows application.
April/May was around when the BGM update went out. A big change like that could be responsible, but none of the error messages make sense for that.
This issue is really tricky, but I think Seeker9043 is right and its gotta be an issue with the machine

ā¦yeah, that did it. Turning off the browser guard addon got the game to start with no issues. All the characters are there, itās showing me the tutorial, and Iām able to play.
Maybe the Malwarebytes windows application applied the browser guard extension to all your browsers.
You can add the website to browser guardās allow list. That will fix it

Iām glad it got resolved, thank you for your patience
trying to revisit levels after doing some new ones (that you clear for the first time) causes a certain bug: if you click on the level there will be continous clicking sound, and entering level will be impossible
also it happens sometimes after clearing some levels (not for the first time) when you get the extraction
refreshing the page gets rid of it, but it comes back pretty soon
the game is playable this way, it just gets kind of annoying
