No, certain things are just incomplete
I have not tried Fatocracy+ yet do I cannot confirm if this is in the updated mod or not. Are you using the updated mod or the older release?
I took the one from tancredvoncarstein’s most recent link.
Very understandable! I remembered a lot of old limitations of the game after loading it up again after some years. That said, if you ever want to add a few finishing touches, the old thread that led to the og mod in the first place might be worth a read; it’s where I discussed most of this stuff (the event chain in particular that would lead to the most seamless WG bloodline is the family bloodline chain in HF).
@tancredvoncarstein
I’ve also experienced the same crash. Hopefully it’s not too hard to patch.
Been playing with the mod for a while. I read something about a fat bloodline
How do I get that? Also, is there a way to make a fat Kingdom/empire?
And what mass force-feeding wars do exactly?
I’m completely new to the game (downloaded it for the mod kekw)
How do you access any of the modded content after activating the mod? (what’s the fastest way to get/make someone fat?) I don’t see the dinner date option
I’m running fatocracy +
Thanks
Going to be honest im kind of computer dumb so im not sure how to get the Fatocracy + to work. I am using the steam version but even loading up the game or trying to force trigger events (just to see if they work) say they dont exist. I assume its due to file names being strange possible with the mod itself but not really sure. Any help would be awesome <3
did you remember to enable the mod in the launcher before playing?
I did indeed, still no dice however.
do you have any new decisions in the intrigue tab, or decisions when you right click your portrait? Make the game run for a few in game days first though, since I think I used an event to activate the mod’s features.
Also, make sure the files in your mod folder are extracted and not still in the archive
I can attempt to force it to activate by fast-forwarding a few days, but I did not have any of the past decisions in the intrigue tab when I looked.
After forwarding through a year or two I got no option to pop up. Also would the files needs to all be individually extracted with like 7-zip? All the modded folders are still zipped so wondering if that matters.
yeah manual mods (or at least mine) have some trouble if they are still zipped up. It should be a folder named fatocracy (or fatocracy+ if they changed it) and a .mod file named “fatocracy” as well.
Alrighty, let me try extracting all of them to see if that changes anything!
Apparently I did in fact, need to extract every file. IT seems to be working now but ill probably post again if I have any more questions. Thanks again Failmuseum, you always come in clutch when I have my silly computer questions <3
I’ve been giving this new version a shot and it’s good fun. But I have noticed some things wrong with the new adephagian religion.
- If you reform the faith and you pick a name that changes the name of the pantheon the names become jumbled. This is also an issue in vanilla, but there is a mod to fix this called “Reformation: God Names Fix”. This doesn’t work here for some reason.
- The reformed religion does not get access to normal holy wars for some reason. I picked dogmatic as my nature, so I should get them.
On a related note the court feedee modifier sticks around even if the character is no long a court feedee.
