@failmuseum Hey I was just curious and thought id give you poke, I was messing with trait modifiers for the body but I cant seem to get any of them to activate any reason things like fat_belly_LV1_modifier and such dont work in console or am I typing them wrong? (I was just peaking through files and the like so thats why I was curious~)
Depends on what event you were trying to trigger. All you need to do is be an adult, be female, be a certain weight level, and have gotten one of the modifiers in the hidden event that handles that (or have been temporary obese at least one time, or have used one of the potions from the witch). It’s probably because you are not at the right weight.
If you are looking for an event to get it to fire type “event FATTENQUICKPOTION.X” Replace the X with 4-9 to get the flags needed for the events to fire. Then all you need to do is gain weight (Every other weight level starting from pot belly I believe).
4 is belly
5 is breast
6 is butt
7 is thigh
8 is hip
9 is bottom heavy
Oh alright ill give that a try! Thanks for the troubleshooting, also im not sure how to get the magic stuff or witch things to happen naturally any idea as to how to start them or is it more random a lot of the time? (fairly new to crusader kings so im digging for information on the magic stuff)
The hunting decision should do it, but I found a bug for a few of those events that I have set backwards (some, maybe all, magic content only appears when using that decision when magic content is turned off in the options). Keep hunting and it should appear eventually. Next update will also include another way to get there, whenever that comes out.
Most excellent thank you kindly for the information, then I guess for now ill just play around with whats available. Its still a ton of fun regardless haha
Actually I have another question about the even (sorry not use to using menu’s like this) what does it mean when “there is no event with ID #0”? Do I need to replace anything besides the X with the corresponding number or did I miss something else?
It means that something went wrong and you are looking for an event that technically doesn’t exist (according to the game).
First make sure the mod is activated and installed correctly, then make sure you typed it exactly like this:
event FATTENQUCKPOTION.4
if that isn’t working, than I messed something up.
Hmm well I check my mod files and they seem to be all in the right place but they cant find any of the events :o
Is it turned on in the launcher? Try typing this in and see if that works:
event FATTEN.1
I mean everything else in the mod seems to be working when im running it but not the console commands oddly enough (it cant seem to find them im guessing?) I might need to reinstall it but that might take me an hour or two cause im not the best at messing with mods :x
Figured it out! Its because the first time I was typing it as Quick instead of QUCK so I was adding in an I, however now it works perfectly! Now I just have to find that food addict trait in the normal list…
Dammit, I knew that typo was going to cause issues, I thought I fixed it. Glad you figured it out, sorry for causing the headache.
Oh no! Its all trial and error right? Coding is hard enough as it is especially for a computer idiot like myself haha at least we figured it out! I also found the food_addiction_modifier on someone now I just have to figure out how to trigger it on people.
ends up as add_modifier food_addiction_modifier (character ID or blank) but I cant seem to figure out what it means by wrong number of arguments as the error
Yep, this was something I’d been meaning to ask about for long time. Because CK2 is Capitalization Sensitive, it’s safest to keep it consistent across the board. Generally this means keeping event IDs in all caps, and more or less everything else lowercase.
Well for me its that there was an additional letter instead of something like I was typing it wrong without caps and the like haha
I know that problem. The thing is that your modifier is completely correct. The only thing that you are missing is the amount of days that you want this modifier to stay active. After that, you will have to insert it again.
If I remember correctly, it was something along the lines of:
add_modifier Fat_Belly_LV1_Modifier [character ID] [amount of day]
Ahh but what if I want it to be permanent? Ideas?
make the duration -1 to make it permanent, at least that’s how I do it when adding them through events.
Oooh makes sense ill have to keep that in mind while messing around
for some of the weighing events the text gets cut off by the small boxes,is there a mod I’m supposed to use for it because I’m using larger event windows mod.
