Rather than edit the above yet again, I think one other thing I’d like noted is that we are sorta railroaded into spending time with Chika moreso than Erika thanks to partying with her being the only unique night event and her office being the only source of income AND working in the morning conflicts directly with gym attendance on weekdays. Having alternate night and day events for socialising and making money would be great, though preferably on weekends (make the modelling events a regular income source?). If it can be done without blowing up the entire day routine scripts, adding a noon period to the day with lunch events could also be a massive help with breaking up the tedium.

The more you let people decide who to hang out with, the more you can tailor events to player preferences and give them what they crave. With electrolytes.

How do I go on a weight loss path?

If I recall correctly, you must first give either ten cupcakes to Erika or feed her back then times. Then Erika will be locked into the rebound route.

After that you will have a choice in the weight up scene asking if you think it’s time to lose weight.

After that you need to collect a hidden state called weightlosspoints(I wasn’t feeling creative with that name) and do healthy things like going to the gym, running or choosing the healthy option at the restaurant. However you can still lose self control and if you make too many unhealthy choices you will become unable o choose the healthy choices that unlock the weight loss scene.

What @bobothesecondtwo said but make sure to have been greedy enough to discovered the restaurant. Random event will pop up with you going there. You need to go to the restaurant by weight stage three to meet Yui. That’s how you get access to the cupcakes.

Then when your on the weight loss path by saying “I’ve had my fun, it’s time to lose weight” the stage progresses to the weight loss route by working out enough. Just make sure you have given Ericka ten cupcakes/ fed her back ten times before transitioning the stage, or you will go into the next stage with Akane fat and Ericka fit. (Failing the weight loss path)

Loved the update, looking forward to the next one. I saw in one of the scenes with Kaede thay she mentioned having Nene help out at the shrine so hopefully we’ll get some good content there. Im really just hoping for more Nene content in general lol.

I was kind of learning into some strongfat stuff for them, but realised it would double my workload for the next update. I do want to work strongfat Rin there somewhere at somepoint. It’s not really a widely covered niche.
I also think some dialogue options based on how Akane feels about her gain could spice things up. I’m not sure I could change much visually.

I also do like the idea of Erika failing to lose weight from the start. Not sure how I would even begin to implement it yet. A lot of new scenes would have to be made. But never say never.

A non-descript sports science degree. I know being physically fit isn’t really a requirement for those kinds of things, but I felt it played well into the idea.

So I’m still looking at houses for the upcoming stages. My working premise is that after Akane get’s kicked out of university for being unfit to continue Erika, who is a little more wealthy than she lets on proposes they move into their family’s much nicer,and roomier, close by. That would give me room to have several interesting interaction around the house, pool scenes, garden scenes, nerdification scenes, ordering excessive amounts of food etc and have maybe Rin visit and eventually move in?.

The premise is a little hamfisted. The other option is they downgrade their house, but I kind of feel Akane has suffered enough haha.

Naturally the feeder route would have Akane continue in university.

It doesn’t need wholly different renders imo, it would mostly just be facial expressions and posing variation within renders; less work visually than whole ass paths, that’s for sure lol. It’s the sort of thing the player could check by either a UI element or some kind of daydreaming at home interaction, potentially with events once their personality/tastes becomes pronounced enough.

As for more early diverging paths, I think it’s best if the backend code allowing for it is implemented soon - including Chika stuff - so that you don’t have to do it all later when there’s waaaay more code to track. Then yeah, come back to it later after the existing content is polished.

I kinda thought she’d transfer into a… less physically demanding subject rather than simply tank, which works best in a beelining slob route but I kinda hope won’t be in every feedee run. You keep the dorm, but losing credits means studying harder to catch up. Realistically, something like medicine or sports psychology might make sense but it would be very funny if a plump Akane flipped straight into “”“Food Science”“” iykwim.

A side-grade might work if Akane has a bit of a warchest. Yeah, Erika has A Place but the property is technically an Airbnb-like rental thing that her parents expressly expects her to maintain and generate revenue from, so Akane has to pitch in to over costs as its new ‘tenant’. Cue more modelling and cam content (which Erika has been stealthily compiling this entire time, don’t think I didn’t notice Erika’s filming and photos lmao).

Good idea’s for sure. I had pictured a weight gain oriented version of a plotline that is in @expandinguniversegam e’s breast expansion fetish oriented game called hypnosis. Hypnosis by Expanding Universe Games. The game’s main focus is on BE and harem content, with some other storylines and pathways in game and more planned. It has some really solid writing and renders and while I won’t spoil too much there’s a plot line where the girls breast sizes in game are out of control and not within anybody’s control anymore. The MC and girls are suddenly in need of better, bigger housing. One girl starts a Twitter, Instagram, only fans type deal where they document their progress of all the girls that are main love interests of the MC to generate money. And it plot wise brings in a device for them to have a larger living situation and scenes in game with that type of measuring, documentation, and doing some fan service style content, while also serving as a reason to move into what would a way too nice and expensive house (mansion) that could facilitate the games plotline.

This is similar to how I imagined the Irona photoshoots, or Chicka “I’ve got a plan” type stuff would eventually lead into. Documentation of weight gain, photo shoots, feedings/stuffings, maybe more sexual style scenes. I assumed those type of activities would eventually be a thing. Sometimes things don’t need to be overly realistic within fetish plot where it’s not needed to be over analyzed. Since I figure the feedee/feeder Akane routes are likely to need a bigger/different place for all the growing girls depending on how things are played, something like this could work for any route or pathway.

Hey everyone, I was talking about making distributions for both the version with AI images and the original images, but seeing as I will also be converting the images in the game to a much more space effecient file type, why note have a toggle in the game that lets the player choose what they want on the fly? I’m not sure if it will be implemented in this form in the next uodate, as it could prove to be unfeasable, but I really like this option. It’s kind of like the graphics toggle in halo MCC.

A toggle benefits you as a dev in the long run in my opinion. Having two different versions of the game plus Mac and PC versions of each will be messier from a bug report and feedback standpoint. And I think is better for the community to take away anything that might confuse less tech savvy or “in the know” supporters. It’s a cleaner way to do things as long as file size isn’t super inflated in the long run because of it. I assume webp and webm will likely be in the future of the game as it stands. So, I think this makes sense.

EDIT: Also I quite like the idea of being able to compare the two versions on the fly personally.

Love this sneak peek. I agree with Krod there. Also little question on the side because I am too lazy to find that out myself right now. Can Nene turn into a feeder of the current version if I push her enough ?

you know if it was thin Erika i would reckon she would of made lunch for Akane and did most of the packing for akane so not to waste so many calories or Iroha/Rin while Erika made a massive lunch for them

Anyway, how efficient is this file type since this will likely make the game a lot bigger in size?

a 3 megabyte file in a lossless webp format becomes 1 megabyte after conversion. So, one third of the size if I’m doing a lossless conversion

Edit, I can get it a lot smaller but I’ll do some experiments to make sure any quality loss isn’t visible to the naked eye.

I reckon the toggle is more work because you have to define/rename/reference twice as many images, and since images are 99.99% of the filesize this will double the download size for all future versions forever (although you’re also about to cut the filesize by 50% by choosing webp so maybe that’s fine.)

Toggles for the outputs and other preferences (HINT fantasy content HINT) are probably best gated behind a settings menu than an ingame toggle or waiting for decisions to fire.

My personal favorite for images on my computer is 95-99% quality webp not lossless because it’s about half the filesize (of the already small lossless webp) for almost all of the quality. (I’m using XnConvert and to get such a size savings compression method turned up from 4 to 6.)

95% provides a pretty sizable cut in file size with no visible loss in quality. So I’ll probably go with this.

Good idea with the fantasy content. I can probably have the toggle hidden behind a menu at the start so there are various ways to access the images. It’s just a few flags at the start of the game.
