Ha, I definitely don’t see it happing, given it would be AFTER the team already had to tone down their ambitions in several areas, including the number of weight increments for the main cast. A lot of the story suggestions people might have right now will be too late to make it into the game anyhow, given where they’re up to in the production cycle.
Do you mean in general, or Forks specifically? I seem to recall they added to the weight gain increments as time passed, not decreased.
Considering how big Kim is in that pic and it’s not even her final (form) weight, I’d say they’ve increased it.

First off, thanks @EarthboyJAK, @MightyHalberd, @gam3r, and everyone else for the kindness! I’d hoped quarantine and working remotely would’ve meant more time for Forks, but like life, my job finds a way~. It’s a slow process, but progress continues, and it’s no small part because of you all ![]()
@anon92969498 Forks has five main characters (Alex, Hannah, Morgan, Rea, and Grace), with several secondary. Of those, you’ve only met Weber, but there’s a few more coming! There are several endings planned, depending on whose route (Hannah, Rea, or Grace) you take.

2. If all goes well, the new demo will indeed have more choices (and more interactivity in general), but I’m glad the few already there are fun!
3. Some of my most productive script sessions come after stressful work days. Writing anything (including this!) is like punching through a brick wall on wheels, it’s so hard for me to get through that initial writer’s block. The really silly stuff (like the senate debate) was all written when I was dead tired, same with the Euclid line. Needed Alex to describe Hannah’s chest and it was just, “Why not? I can fix it in the morning!”
Morning never came.
Indeed, you’d have to plan ahead of time!
The current Dream Crusher end is actually the beginning of an old route where Alex would go through the entire game without gaining weight. Instead, she would interface more with everyone else’s gains. Worked better in theory than practice, implementing it meant rewriting just about everything, and I’m having a hard enough time as it is
. I plan to redo much of that in the new demo.
However, there is weight loss in Forks (we’ve even got a key visual done!), and the best explanation I can give for now is that there’s plenty that can happen over the ~3.5 years the game covers. It can be mitigated, but some characters will be mighty stubborn about it. We’ve got so many wonderful portraits, may as well find more ways to use them ![]()
@TDG One of the blessings of our protracted development is that we can revisit the cuts we’ve made previously. Thanks to FoxFire’s new skills, we’ve felt confident in adding 14 more portraits to the core five characters’ lineups, and 9 of those are for larger sizes than we’d originally planned.

Ah, so that’s Rea. Sorry, names are vital to me. And I HOPE so. My biggest/only thing here. Aside from a pretty face. The other details are a lot less important, though not unimportant/irrelevant. *Note: I removed a letter; I’d misread Rea’s name as having an h.

I honestly never thought there’d be a weight loss anything in this, lol. I figured “Dream Crusher” was essentially a gag path. “Alex never attempted to gain weight. The end. You boring *****.”
And you know, if I was going to guess someone would resist gaining weight and lose any they did gain, I would have guessed Rea or Hannah. Seeing that pot belly on Rea makes me think my guess is slightly off.
@TDG Taking this a little further, it makes me wonder what kind of gain Morgan and Alex will have? Bell-shaped, or round all over, or some variation I’m not thinking of.
I do love that image. Rea and Alex have clearly gained a bit of weight, Rea especially. Hard to tell with Hannah, but I don’t think so. She does strike me as the one who’d be rather resistant to weight gain, given she was described in the demo as originally being chubby and working hard to slim down.
I could see her being a little bitter about her exercise guru putting on fifty-odd pounds, lol.
@Tron This is a silly question, but if I recall correctly, Weber is the professor for the class, yes? Will we ever get to see him? I won’t lie, his segments are magnificent. I MUST see this, this SPECIMEN.

Weber is indeed Alex’s Freshman Signature professor. It’d be nice to include other faculty, but too much academia would bog things down. I want every character to have a clear purpose, and Weber does that well enough on his own. He did have a WIP portrait in an older demo (complete with seersucker jacket and bow tie), but we never got to implementing it. I’d like to take another swing at him once we’re through more important work piles.

DLC certainly could be interesting, the game is already 412 MB (old demo linked in the first post is 217 I think). I’m just not familiar with the infrastructure it’d require.
@EarthboyJAK We’re all trying our best, there’s so much you guys haven’t seen yet! Only hangup is slogging through the heaps of assets you need to make a game like this. The code is a mess of placeholder assets, notes, and commented lines that I’ll revisit later. It’s a wreck 90% of the time, but when I finally dig in and clean a scene up, it can feel pretty good! It’s like watching a restoration video 
How much will the final game cost?
That’s pretty impressive! I know a bit about digging through a task and making some headway, and the feeling that comes with it. Hope it feels just as good working through the coding on the game! In any case, just do your thing, at your own pace, alright? If you keel over from exhaustion, you won’t be able to do much else! 
Hopefully free, paying for a kink game would be weird.
Not having a go at you personally. A lot of people seem to feel that way.
IMO, they’ve every right to charge for the game if they want to. Whether it’s kink or not, they’ve invested a great deal of time, effort and presumably money into creating something that a lot of people seem to enjoy. I’m guessing they’ve put many hundreds of hours of hard work into creating their game.
If you’d done that, wouldn’t you feel entitled to charge money for the finished product?

Tigg, i feel you on that. The hours spent on a game could have been utilized else where. Passion is the start but there should be some sort of payback or reward putting out a complete and fun product.
I’ve paid for one before; money well spent. SFOAS (the complete version) by ImpossibleSnail, one of our fellows on this very site. It was really inexpensive ($3 American, if memory serves), and worth playing. Vore elements are optional, but you’ll see them coming/be able to force them, if you’re into that. If not, it’s preventable.
There’s also The Pirate’s Fate, which is apparently really expansive. Waiting to save up $20 for that, and then splurge. I genuinely think it’d be worth the money, if it’s all it’s cracked up to be!
