Tron made a post on the patreon a few days ago stating that his work had a covid scare and he had to stay home and take care of his kid, which will delay the release of the new forks update for a few weeks.

Well last time I check there was a cg with Rea and Alex eating some ice cream. Although I’m pretty sure those didn’t have labels for what flavor they were Or maybe I just wanted a excuse to mention it cause that’s my favorite cg so far.
But since you mentioned it I’m a little curious about that now. Probably won’t contribute much to the story but hey it would be interesting to know.

The CG in question, I imagine they just grabbed whatever ice-cream was available and you cant make out a flavor anyway. But I agree this is my favorite one too.

It initially started as joke for world building purposes, but it has now become something greater. Tron is going to come back and wonder what happened, and there will be no answer I can serve them at that point.

Greetings at 4am! Just finished some late office work after spending yet more time at home (almost) solo raising the kid. I went back to the office after the first Covid scare for all of a day before someone else tested positive. Boss and coworkers don’t care (I work in a small office) and I know at least 3 people up there were just wandering around with it as if it was nothing. Miraculously nobody’s severely ill, they just seem to be letting it take its course and otherwise ignoring it.
Thankfully my boss has let me continue working from home, and now I’m really hoping Monday’s the day I really really go back and really really really get that baby break and get back to sweet office drudgery. It’s been over a month of diaper changes and peekaboo 
I’ve been working evening/graveyard shifts to cover the work I’d normally do during office hours, my boss is a workaholic who never sleeps so I’m often on Zoom calls with him at ~2-3 am. Baby’s up at 8-9, and the day begins anew!
I gotta go to bed, but let’s see what I can shed on this ice cream lore. Alex isn’t picky with ice cream (her mom hardly bought the stuff, and when she did it was usually “frozen dairy dessert”), so in her situation she’s going to find whatever’s the most caloric. For that CG, I’d pictured the flavor being some sort of vanilla base with cheesecake pieces, maybe with a raspberry fruit swirl.
Otherwise, I’m still writing the final scene for the next Forks update, and Aria’s (slowly) moving along to its redone Unity port. I’ve got the old 2021 Ren’Py version still slightly unifinished, but I still want to upload it to Patreon so everyone can see what the basic premise was. Aria 2022 Unity is fairly similar, just with the benefit of an extra year of planning.
I’m here, but I like to give everyone my best and for the past month I’ve had to give it all to the kid 
Seriously, I should still get to be the kid. I’m too young to be a dad already

It’s only 7 days later and 2:45am, that’s better!
Managed to go back into the office this week, and thus finally got the time to finish the update script! It’s done!
There’s more to read after this scene, but I felt the line was appropriate. Now comes editing, making sure the script reads well in-game, and that character portraits/data calls function properly (unlike here, where Grace is haphazardly pasted over Alex because that’s a-ok right now!). Just wanted to update everyone on where I’m at, and I’ll post an update to Patreon on what comes next either later today or Sunday.

Edit: I’m hesitant to post an ETA, but writing the script takes far longer than cleanup. Depending on how things go I might get this out next week.
