Pathogenic is implemented, actually. It affects 2 NPCs in the city area, and it affects Maya (but that one takes a while since I wanted her weight gain to be more gradual, and I don’t really have time for her spritework or her scenes.)
Just as a strategy though, try not to make the restaurant one blimp up too early. The lady out front isn’t kidding when she says it slows business down. The restaurant won’t ever be fully packed again. While this is good if you’re eating there, it’s bad if it was you main source of income. Might want to wait until the bakery overtakes the payout.
mm context (and bonus Maya bullying). found a bug with the restaurant, it’s not taking an extra energy to eat there when it’s fully packed. and a quick question about a potion’s effects: the only Sly One effect i saw in the previous demo besides visual changes was bonus rat tails when waking up sometimes (and Maya commenting on it). is the random chance to not go out implemented?
edit: the restaurant does prevent you from eating there if it’s full and you don’t have 2 energy, so that’s working properly
There is a bug related to mining: It is possible to begin mining even when the player lacks sufficient energy to do so. While the option to continue mining works properly and will send the player back to the mine’s entrance once they run out of energy, the player can bypass this restriction by simply speaking to the overseer again. This happens despite the presence of a message informing the player that they do not have enough energy; the overseer sends them into the mines as normal (Marcel should unionize), and this can be repeated infinitely.
Final demo is out, game is pretty much finished. Pretty much all the content that was blatently missing is now present. Last minute bug reports very much appreciated. Now, I’m going to try and make something out of the woods RPG area while I can.
Don’t be surprised though if the woods are cut for the jam.

First thing I would like to say is that love your work (recently started to play your other games although I have known “heros on a budget” for while, and your share on “feeders fantasy”) , second love how your game is light in a sense of processing power (since I’m playing on a Samsung A30), third is that I have found a bug but don’t know if you fixedon demo 5,t the potion bed bound won’t do anything at least for me.
With that, the game is out for the Gain Jam, officially now. The finished version is available for download. Last minute bug reports are still very much welcome.
I also did manage to get out something for the woods. It’s pretty likely unstable, so be sure to save before entering, but you can kinda see what I was going for with it as is. It serves it’s function, but it is by no means necessary to the game.
I had a bug where the game randomly froze when I was walking away from the market. Not sure what happened, the audio was still working it’s just that nothing on screen was moving.
For some reason, Marcel’s picture is staying at the skinny size when I use the gluttony glyph or the mirror. I got the scene of her being fatter, so I know it’s not just being too thin.
Edit: It seems to have fixed itself, it’s showing her fat again.

Also - how do “swim”? Do i need to brew some potion to be able to do that?
I have found a bug - if you choose “no” when game asks you if you want to spend more time looking for ingredients, you leave forest as intended, but next time you enter it you need to use 2 energy because immediately after you go to this location, game asks you if you want to continue searching for ingredients.
So you lose one energy to enter forest and another one to even get 60 seconds cooldown, i don’t think it’s supposed to work like that.
