That honestly does look really nice!

The grass, that is. Might sound weird, but it really does make the environment look that much more like an open field.

Quite an interesting design for the samurai crickets/grasshoppers (was never quite certain, sorry) as well. Personal opinion, but I reckon they look pretty good as-is, honestly.

Not much is going on.
Tiles have been recolored and fighting mechanics are close to being done.

I’m building the demo level and the final sprites are being made.
