Project F.A.T. v1.8.6 - Completion

Found kind of an odd situation. When talking to the random people wandering or standing around in the forest, hitting the Escape key triggers the conversation of talking about Icycull and inviting them to help rebuild. I haven’t made it to Icycull yet though and don’t normally have the conversation to do so. Not sure what effect doing this kind of sequence breaking would have so I’ve reloaded whenever this has happened.

Hmm. That’s odd indeed. I think I know the reason, it’s an easy fix at least.
It’s not super game breaking, just more annoying than anything.

Agreed, easy enough to avoid if you know how to, but figured it was worth giving you info so you could take a peek when possible.

Hmm, I tested it and couldn’t replicate it. Which NPC was it? Maybe not all of them are affected

so i don’t know if this is a trigger then but when it comes to making the npc’s in the casino mad nothing happens once they are all mad

Are you running the newest version? If you are, did you import a save? If you did, was the save passed day 10? If it is, talk to the NPC in the lab to reset the variables affected.

If you did all that, then…. Damn. I’ll have to look at that event

yep i don’t know what happened but they just sit/stand there being mad

So the event starts and then it just does nothing? Or you can still interact with them and move around the casino but their dialogue changes?

so once their dialogue changes to the getting mad one they just stay where their spots and the event doesn’t trigger

Hmm… How odd… If possible, can you send me your save file? I’ll do some checks to see why it isn’t. Since logically speaking, it should work with no issues.

Yeah, guess I just ended up “lucky” getting that bug when I did. Can’t trigger it now that I’m trying again, so it might be only certain ones as you thought. Last night I had it happening to the NPC standing at the worn stone altar in Forest West. This one also happened on Day 7 if that makes any difference.

I have also had it happen to the NPC standing near the water in Forest SouthEast as well. Haven’t encountered either of these NPCs again now that I am looking for them to check if it is still happening. I will try to edit or post again when I do with my findings.

Edit: Got it again. It was the NPC standing in front of the shrine in Forest West, day 9 this time. Alternatively, it was the person with blue/green hair (I think, hard to tell for sure with the reddish filter from the time of day). They have a cape hanging from their left shoulder as they are looking towards the top of the screen.

Edit 2: Got it another time, same day, and it was the dark-skinned blond standing at the water in Forest SouthEast.

Yeah. Just a save file you were using

How bizarre. I guess I’ll just check all of them.

Sorry about adding on more work for you. Those two seem to be the only ones as far as I can tell. I’ve been trying on the others and they don’t seem to be effected.

Popping in with another minor one, sorry about that: encountered Isabelle outside the Castle gate in the Noble District, defeated her, and had the thin Lucia pic show up when she remarked that hopefully it was the last time.

Edit: Also, just a question: what’s the time gap between encountering Isabelle outside the Castle as above, and then encountering her later on outside the lab and then again with the Queen fight. I’m wanting to recruit Isabelle to have her show up in the Contest Hall, so I’m wanting to kind a feel for how much longer I need to go before I can do so. Sorry if it has been answered before. I did some searches and found some, but they seemed to be based on older versions of the game, so I wasn’t sure i it had changed since then.

Nah those haven’t changed. Still the same amount of time required in between.

Damn, those old face graphics still popping up here and there!

Considering how many little icons you have, plus all the variations, it’s pretty expected that some of them might slip through from time to time.

Anyways, thanks for the info, and thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into this game as well.

Edit: Alright, recruited Isabelle. I think I misunderstood something because I thought I would encounter her outside the lab in the castle after the castle gate encounter, then again after fighting the queen. Glad I accidently went through and fought the queen, so that was my bad on that one, otherwise I would have been wandering around even longer.

Anyways, seem to be experiencing a bit of a bug now. There seems to be two Isabelles. One fat one based on how she was after the queen fight sitting around in the abandoned lab, and a second skinny one following Lucia

Hm. Just be an issue with how the pages are checked. It should show the relevant page based on her weight but it’s clearly doing some weird baloney there.

What’s her weight at?
