thanks for the reply, just to make some clarifications on your questions about the bugs:

8: Shows the first 2 cards and then usually nothing after that
So I’ve been playing until I got to Mezeti because I’ve been stuck in here for weeks and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been in the Tavern and meet the girl who got experimented on the doctor and i don’t remember what I did to her, but I remember seeing her walk to the doctors house in the top right and meeting someone who needed to eat a lot of food in the top left.
When I finished with the girl and been to the doctors house many times, it always says that it’s locked, and it says in the quest that I haven’t even entered Mezeti, or finished earlier quests as well.
If this is a problem others have gotten fixed, sorry for disturbing, but I’m still wondering what to do now

Ah, I must have not added additional cards (or they appear but too far to the right so they’re off screen.)
So you watched and Mallory (green haired girl) headed towards to the Doctor’s house and then nothing?
I must have forgotten to add a transfer there. The next update will be out in like 1-2 days if you can wait (you’ll need to start a new file anyways… )
As for the Quests, thats just me forgetting to add the next update conditions. I’m forgetful at my old age

Fine by me really, and understandable. As a small dev myself, you always forget those small things lol
Either way, I can wait a day or two, take your time. A good game is one that takes a long time to make!

So im kinda lost. Can’t figure out how to progress the main quest at all. just been gathering money and gaining, found two lab codes, and i found the secret island dungeon but the elder cockatrice doesn’t die (i win but it stays on the map).
any help?
So in the game folder itself is a guide (it’s poorly written :P) but it does have a rough outline of what needs to be done story wise.
a tl;dr is:
- Fight blue slime in forest 3 times (win or lose) - recruit her to the lab
- On a day thats divisible by 3, she’ll ask for you help. Go to the slime village and beat the goblin. The blue slime girl will give you the castle key.
- Head to the castle and head to the basement. Go to the computer lab and unlock the system. (Warning, battle ahead). Look in the medical lab and check the computer.
- Head to the throne room and fight the Queen.
- Go to Tiana and talk to her in her house.
- Go to the Casino, spend 25000 on Casino Chips and you’ll get a VIP Pass. Talk to the Don upstairs and beat him at his game.
- Take the boat in the harbour to Icycull.
- Go to Tiana’s Mansion and cross through the Dread Mountains.
- Go to the Tavern in Mezeti. Watch the scene playout. If you kept Beth alive (purple haired girl), go to her house. If not, follow Mallory to the Doctor’s lab.
- If you kept Beth alive, use her bed and nap until it’s night time. Look around the city for the Doctor.
- In the Doctor’s lab, talk to him (save beforehand as there is no going back)
- Watch the scene, run to the right and fight the Queen. An ending will play out based on your corruption.

Joy, time to have some fun and start hunting for any possible bugs.
Edit: Found my first one, and it’s blackjack again. Despite the dialog, the dealer seems to be treating Aces as 1 whether they are above or below a total of 10.

Wow, your getting close to version 1.5.0. After that, your done with the game!.
In addition to the very minor blackjack dealer ace bug in my previous post, found another one but this one is a bit more troubling. Doing to the Restocking quest, but can’t turn in the goods to Eloise. Made sure to go back to the grocery to check that I had the order, but no good, the MC juts keeps asking her about the quest. This has the effect of making it so that I can’t buy anything from Eloise now.
Edit: Tried again, started over, rushed right to job board, and then back and forth doing only that quest and the same. Couldn’t turn in the goods breaking Eloise if the quest is started.

like last time i’ll update this message with bugs as i go along:
- not quite a bug but the debug room has two entrances in the lab. one by the computer and one above the bed.
- the restocking quest is bugged, when you go to give the goods to eloise it will instead play the text for first accepting the task from her and fail to complete. this also locks you out of doing anything with eloise if you start the quest

Ah yeah, that was the old debug room. As long as it doesn’t soft lock you, it’s fine. I’ll remove it for next update though.
The Eloise thing is odd. Gonna have to suss what’s going on there.
How can I go up to rank 2 in the contest hall?
I’ve competed with everyone, but I can’t go up
It should happen automatically if you go back into the contest hall.
If not, check the debug room and use the option to clear rank 1.
Odd that it’s not working…. I might have to check some things out if that’s the case.

I need to feed the blue and red slime something special. Can you tell me which one is special?

So once they need some special, you need to get Supercharged Slime. This can be gotten by feeding Aria. A giant purple slime that Joe is keeping secret. To access her, you need to either
- help Joe with culling his tasty slimes 4 times
OR - eat Joe and fiddle with the control panel on the wall
Aria eats Jello Slimes. Which you need to capture using the capture net. When you bring enough, she’ll give you supercharged slime.
So. This will fix the Eloise issue. Just download the map file, go to the game folder > www > data
and paste it over the original.
I forgot to add a page which in turn broke the whole damn sequence. But this will fix it. You will NOT need to start a new file if you already have a save file.

Thanks for the Eloise patch. Can’t check it right now, but will when I can.
Edit: Did try it, and it worked, was able to turn in the goods. Only a tiny issue was left: when turning in the goods, the icon for Eloise was of a fattened form of her. Not something troubling at all, but I figured it was worth noting anyways.
Edit 2: Turns out that some of the other icons for Eloise are of her fattened form as well, even when just starting the game and her being skinny. Other icons are of her current skinny form. Again, totally minor and not a problem at all, just for future fixes when major issues get ironed out.

The Extermination quest is still unable to be repeated. Just like before, taking the quest the first time works fine through the whole thing. Taking the quest again on the next day has Lady G with no option to talk about the quest, and so no way to go down into the basement, and so on for the rest of the quest. At least this one doesn’t end up breaking a store or any other dialog as far as I can tell, it’s just stuck in the journal, which might get annoying, but it’s not game breaking.
