I did lurk majority of this entire fallout but as I suggested before you can use another platform you feel more comfortable with, a pixel artist I follow on Twitter/x and bluesky post there regularly and he seems to have no issues. As I restated you do not have to live or die by this platform while I haven’t worked much on the sprites(simply got into more stuff like unreal and blender) doesn’t mean you have to let your free time and creative juices go to waste you were making an entire new base shape/spritesheet with the may sprites that would suck if those bases (with another character) see the light of day or maybe a follow-up to the midna sprites. Take your time and as always tips off to you and your sprites good sire o7
That’s the crutch of this situation. My nine-to-five is one of those jobs that will know if I make any social media (Yes, it’s one of those highly monitored jobs.) This site is obscure enough to go under the radar for me and them. A part of me wishes to finish the May/Misty sprites out of spite, but the ringing in me is dull and hollow. And I don’t know if someone is going to come in and say, “Hey, wait! Midna is ‘small’ enough to look like a minor.” My steps going every which way, pressing forward and looking back, dodging left and right at what is hurling toward me, lead me back to this entropic point in the middle of a highway.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. It means a ton.
No problem, shame about your job having that invasion of privacy (would like to see if they monitor sites like itch and newgrounds) and regarding midna if people are fine with WG goblin sequences (I know there’s a couple in this site), then midna is fair play extruddedSquare (and has collaborated with grot for their palworld mod) is more known figure that has posted many LoL gremblin-like fat 3d models and midna ofc. No pressure on any of those sprites may you have a decent break and a better way to share your content without people coming at your throat just because of discrepancies between how sites moderate content.
I appreciate the discussion but this is not the right topic for it. I think everyone has said their peace and I have instructed @staff to delete any further discussion on this matter starting with the previous post I just deleted.
Alright, I’ve received multiple DMs asking for the Shantae/Isabelle sprites that I’ve done. Receiving the pointed end, would it be alright to repost them?
- Yes, repost them, you hole!
- No, to the Shadow Realm with them!
I had them saved so I was going to post them myself if that would be okay with you that is.
I was waiting for the poll to end just to ensure they were acceptable in the community.
In a very close race, neck and neck, but it seems many people want them. Okay, here you go, full sets are in the zips. These are the only complete sprite sets I’ve done, but if anyone wants the other uncompleted ones for whatever purposes, feel free to message me.

Could someone finish the Chocolate Bunny Sprite this guy was making? I think his idea is great.
Chocolate Bunny? You mean the female NPC from the casino?
I know I started to work on larger sizes for the Bunny from the casino
Hi there,
Just recently got myself Libresprite to mess around and to test a couple of things, but I also wanted to show what I have been working on. Took me a while to figure it out, but I’m kind of proud of it. Of course it’s far from perfect and I’m open for feedback, but I still wanted to show it off since maybe some people wanted to play the game as Samus. And I don’t plan to limit myself to Samus either. I’m thinking of other characters like maybe 2B, Cynthia from Pokemon, Catwoman, etc.
Like I said, I’m open for feedback, but I’m also open for suggestions in terms of what characters you wanna see. Be warned though: If the character is a minor, I’m not choosing them.
Ooh nice. Would you take character commissions so people can play as their oc’s or a specific character they want sprited?
To be honest, I dunno. I’m still new to making sprites, so I’m not comfortable with the idea of taking someone’s money while being very slow. I’ll consider it, but I’ll open them once I’m more comfortable with LibreSprite or with spriteworks.
Hello. Felt like showing some more progress, since I’ve been also thinking about using what I’m doing to Samus as a sprite base for other characters. The main idea was to make pear-shaped fat sprites, since some characters that I want to make like 2B are known for their asses, but as I’ve found out, yeah… I’ll have to do some exceptions with some sprites. Plus I’m gonna be on a short trip this week-end, so this will do for the time being.
Edit: The deleted post was because I posted this with zero sprites by accident if anyone was curious.
New user, previously accountless lurker for a while now, will likely continue saying nothing for the most part, and, finally, the part that’s actually relevant to this topic, pretty bad at pixel art.
Despite this, I tried (and, in my opinion, failed) to make a player sprite using the M&L:bis bowser sprites as a base, both to experiment with using larger sprites (originally i was just gonna use the original sprites as a reference, but i realized it kinda fit perfectly at the size I was looking for as the start) and just because big bowser is good bowser.
I realized a little while in that I wasn’t quite happy with my results, but I wondered if maybe someone else would be skilled and motivated enough to finish/fix what i’ve made so far, and even if nobody did, hey, maybe someone would like them anyway. I’ve included the unfinished first sprite sheet, with the first three stages, along with just the left and right sprites of the next one.
If anyone would be willing to actually finish this, (or maybe just take the idea and start from scratch, mine aren’t exactly great) that’d be awesome, especially if you keep the sprite resizing, but I also have no way to pay for it or anything. If not, then I hope that anyone who ends up using what little work i’ve done enjoys it
[Extra details:
-
The first and only sprite sheet included is the size of the default third sprite sheet, which is why the not started frames are completely blank. just fill them in as usual, and it should be fine, as shown with the incomplete stage four
-
yes, these are tested and functional so far
-
the sprite editor i’ve been using is the offline downloaded version of the one found at www.piskelapp.com. idk if other editors are better or not, but it works fine for me, i found it helpful to use the “import as spritesheet” option and split each frame so i don’t slip out of the canvas and most importantly for me, it’s free
-
I had ideas to have the 0 weight sprites be paper bowser, and maybe use giga or fury bowser or something for the werewolf sprites.
-
I probably made the jump from the 3rd to 4th stages a little too big, so maybe pushing that to be the 5th, and making a new 4th stage as an in-between would be good, but then again the game is about being huge, so idk
-
Maybe i’ll keep working on these, but i’d say it’d be faster and better to just give it a shot yourself if you think you can do it. i’d imagine if i did actually finish these, i’d take me an incredibly long time, and not be all that great]
Anyway, I’ll stop with this giant wall of text now, do whatever you want with the sprites, i’ll get back to being a silent observer
Hello again. Did some testing towards the 1st spritesheet while working on it. Good news: It works! Bad news: There’s some sprites clipping on her bigger sizes, mostly with her ponytail, so I’ll have to rework it. Also, let me know if you guys want me to keep you guys updated on Samus, or if you want me to post only until I’m done, because I don’t wanna annoy folks in here by flooding the page with only my posts.
ngl, if someone pulled off making a full sheet for the big lug there’d be a lot of folks i know who would be absolutely thrilled.
I know, right? I’m amazed nobody’s done it yet, honestly
well you got that far with it, even if you aren’t quite happy with how it turned out. im thrilled to see anything at all. I can only hope you come back to this at some point.
eh, i’m still kinda working on it off and on, just very slowly. maybe i will end up finishing it someday, but i’d imagine someone else could do it better and faster
