Sadly, I donāt have the method to make an android version, and I think several mini games like skiing would break! I would suggest getting a working PC!

Thank you for your kind words! I probably wonāt have too many more flashbacks, as we need to finish the game and most of the characters are pretty boring! Not saying it wonāt happen, but it wonāt be as detailed. First, Pro joined the guard at 16. He was a weird kid. Any earlier stuff for Emmie is her just sitting in her mansion alone as a little girl. That does leave Clara who is old enough to have a flash back, butā¦ who would ever want to see a younger Clara?
You said plenty! Some of your ideas are interesting, like the collectables. Maybe that would be a fun post game complete project to work on. I did mention the issue with flashbacks above. But really, thanks for the essay, I love reading these.
Sadly, I am not accepting any money on the game. Iāve taken too much hard work from other people in sprites, music, and art that I donāt think it would be fair for me to take in money. But I appreciate the offer! I am also lucky enough to be in a position where I am not hurting for cash day to day. Maybe one day the artist will open comms, but for the time being, this is a no donate game!

If itās not a big deal, Iāve actually begun work on a side project, a novelization of Some Bullshit called Lantrum. Itās basically going to be a super close retelling of Some Bullshit in novelized form, with some side quests from the story sprinkled in. Iāve just started writing it and Iām doing another playthrough of SB to get the dialogue as close as possible. Iāll upload a link here when Iāve got the first chapter done.

(Edit: Itās going to be in Google Doc form because Iām basic and Iām most familiar with the format. Each chapter will consist of one area each from the story, so Iām gonna guess 20 chapters bare minimum)

mannn when this game ends im gonna be SAD. i havenāt played anything this good in a hot minute. i guess iāll just pray for a some bullshit 2 cause i canāt get enough of emmie and clara. of course, in all seriousness, this project is really amazing and iāll miss it a lot when itās done. i hope you keep making games after this cause damn youāre good at it. and i have to give thanks to our lord and savior clinko for blessing us with true art, praise be to the savior clinko!

Random shot in the dark here, but do you plan to have anymore characters join the party? I literally only ask this because I canāt get the idea of Josh joining your quest out of my head. lol
I can see him as the Bard of the group, being geared towards buffs and debuffs. Like being able to Sugar Rush other characters, stuffing Emmie mid-battle with makeshift desserts (similarly to how Proās Tummy Rubs skill works) or dazing the enemies with the wonders of Flavortown.
But mostly heās hilarious and I love his interactions with Pro lol

Writing process is taking longer than expected, so no link today. In the meantime, Iāll provide a few details and what to expect while reading the Prologue and Chapter 1 when I post it tomorrow.

More in-depth and dramatized fight scenes, so instead of just āswing, get hit, swing, get hit, get healed by Emmieā itās a lot more fleshed out.

Slightly altered events and dialogue to better fit a novelized style. Examples of such include Emmieās thoughts while approaching the three bandits before Markus, originally meant to explain her mechanics outside of battle, now changed to direct dialogue between her and Pro.

Fuck loads of dialogue and exposition. In trying to adapt the first of many parts of Some Bullshit, Iāve come to realize that there is so much dialogue in Some Bullshit that itās a little overwhelming at times to convert and rewrite conversations. Hopefully itās not too much.

Probably really bad writing. Iām an amateur writer at best and Iāve never set myself to write something this long before so I fully expect lots of problems and mistakes in certain areas.
At the current moment I am finishing up writing and editing, fixing grammatical mistakes and what not. Once I finish, Iāll post the link here asap. Iāll be finished by tomorrow, I promise. Anyways, thatās all I wanted to say.
