Iā€™ve enjoyed everything about the game so far and I am overly excited as there is still yet to be a final version. The only bugs I have encountered are when a small elevator is used, and the player has a high energy level; the instance was a five-story elevator (which includes ground level) but when I attempted to raise from the second level to the third, Iā€™d instantly be teleported to the third, and if I were to rise again I would drop to the bottom of an elevator, another bug I donā€™t know how or why but when I had two separate elevators and sometimes one would continuously make a whirring sound unless I saved and went to the main menu. I apologize if these issues have already been expressed, and keep doing what you do, itā€™s simply amazing.

Will you make a peaceful mode for the second game like the first so that you donā€™t have to worry about the slimes destroying everything?

Eventually yes, but for now Iā€™m still planning on major changes to the enemies and turrets, and I donā€™t want to miss out on feedback from people preemptively turning enemies off.

I suppose ideally you want the game to be in a state where people donā€™t feel the need to turn the enemies off.

Exactly! I donā€™t want to end up nerfing things for people who are just going to have it turned off because itā€™s unfinished and unbalanced now.

Will you add some end scenes like the first one?
And maybe beyond of those elasticity upgrades?

Iā€™m still working out exactly how the end scenes are going to go, especially now that there are multiple characters and I canā€™t just make a scene for every weight combo. Well technically I could, but that would be over 4000 end scenes and I donā€™t have the time for that.

I was thinking what if those characters in end scenes are splitted into layers where Pilot is background and other two are layers in front?

you could have threshold endings, would be 9 total endings if you had a combo of small, medium, large on all three characters

Something like that might be able to work, though it would be a bit limited in composition.

That would make 27, which is more doable but still a lot. Plus I like having the idea of having the ending reflect the main sprites accurately.

I was thinking same about that combo of all three characters at first

As long as the characters arenā€™t actually interacting with one another, this should work in theory! Though they might end up standing really far apart from each other at minimum weight, given how chonky they get to be by the endā€¦

It would definitely take some fiddling, Iā€™d recommend planning things out with very rough stick figure sketches (or blob figure, as the case may be) before finalizing anything- that way if there is some sort of conflict, youā€™ll know and be able to fix it before you put too much time in drawing.

not related to the conversation here but I got curious, do you have plans for the slimes? By that I mean they get expanded upon gameplay-wise or lore-wise? or are they gonna stay as the generic enemies?

Gameplay-wise definitely, reworking the slimes is one of the reasons this next update is taking a while. Lore-wise I have some ideas, but nothing solidly pinned down yet.

Needs to be on iphone

That tends to be rather expensive to do, especially for a project like this.

Iā€™ll say the same thing I said to you for the first game; try making a game before you start making demands so casually.

To be fair, making a game as is, is nothing short of a miracle to go over that many hurdles. 80% is stuff people take for granted that would otherwise make the game unplayable

Just for iPhone? Whatā€™s wrong with Android?
