something for a later update. Energy production read out. while the blue thing on windturbines helps its hard to tell the best way to get energy. so maybe not only could the build give how much the make but also while in use you get a per sec production based on your current spot (useful for when you get the range boost)

I feel Grey Slimes should have their own alert. since the are not as afffected by defenses. I lost a recharge panel (solar panel used to recharge from the trip to the outer wall) due to a grey and almost lost a tier 2 mine but was able to save it

hmm so to be sure going Macro addes more Max Size? or just makes the character bigger in modle and doesn’t add max weight?
idea treadmill or something. only their as a way to burn energy for the joy of regaining. maybe it could be connected to some kind of deep drill that mines crystals to turn energy in to crystals

oooh… that would be a thing :eyes: maybe more suit updates that can allow this to happen

Then I see one type of slime that is avoids the walls and turrents?

thats a grey slime it was added recently. it can fade throw walls but turrets will still damage them

I know this is going to be a random thing but if anyone ANYONE could decompile the game for me (mainly to access the sprite sheets for modded/custom images) that would be great, since having to do it from screenshots is a pain in the ass. Thank you in advance to anyone offering to help

Same, trying to edit it from screenshot is dumb because the sprite size doesn’t match up.

Like I’ve said before, once I do the full release of the game I’ll also be putting up some links to download both the regular and generic base versions of all the sprites. You just gotta be a little more patient.

can you tell me how do you save

pause (esc) that opens a menu useing enter for options click save then pick a save nothing changed visually on va save slot yet but they do work

I’m sorry for being impatient, I just really want to try my own hand at modifying the sprites

I think there’s a timer issue somewhere, Going back to the main menu and starting a new game after getting overrun has immediate enemy spawns sometimes. Instantly getting hit by the big slimes is pretty not great.

Also, outside of what I posted as a bug I caught, This is a really cute game with a ton of room to build on. As it is, the current map doesn’t make you really have to move to either side once you’ve gotten two turrets and a wall set up, it would be interesting to see additional maps, but it was a fantastic 2 hour time sink.

Things that are on my wishlist:

  • Some buildings that requires energy input to work at all - A manual Miner, for example. It works much faster, but you have to be venting energy into it for it to work at all.

  • To increase difficulty, it might be a good idea to make the turrets at either lower or higher levels require charging. As it is, they’re very “place and forget”.

  • Decrease the damage that the Grey Slimes take from Turrets at higher prestige, or add an enemy type similar to the Grey that takes damage only from your suit.

  • One step further on the weight scale that puts the Character into immobilized. Having it available presents the option to use it as a fail-state(bad ending) if the character spends too long like that, or funny dialog (“Oh, whoops, so much for the staying mobile plan.”). It’s also just cute IMHO.

I honestly love it, and with a few different maps/scenarios and buildings that required some more frequent interaction I think it would be something I’d play through quite a few more times. There’s a lot of potential here, and it leaves me wanting more. Amazing work.

I might be a little late, but I just wanted to say that I was very surprised at how high quality this game was! For fetish game standards? Easy 9/10 imo. For players who prefer such genre it’s probably not enough and the game might be too easy for most of players, but personally I was very happy with no pressure on the player because I could just fiddle around the base and have fun with stuff.

The dialogue was enjoyable and the sprites were of course great.

Really liking the main character. I haven’t gotten to play the game, yet, but I’ll see if it works on my ancient Windows XP computer and give some thoughts.

V0.8.2

Got a question from Skyox about putting mods into the game, and it got me thinking. Turns out for spritesheets I can pretty easily make it read from external files, so now putting in custom sprites is possible! Also infinite prestiging is now a thing. I won’t be making any unique content past first prestige (for all those looking for dialogue/endings) but you can now technically get as big as you want. Sounds are wonky and you can’t really see the player, but it’s possible.
As for modding in spritesheets, if you search up %localappdata% and find the spacethumper folder there are a couple filenames the game will be looking for to swap out sprites. Now I know I said I was going to do this on V1.0, but since there’s a good reason to include the main spritesheets for the game to make spritesheet swaps easier I’m just gonna release them now, named accordingly to be put right into the game.

As for the restrictions on how much the sprites can be changed, the sizes of the portraits can’t be changed, but as for Sen and the player as long as the number of frames and facing are preserved they can be as big or small as you want.
