Yup, 8x4 and scaled dynamically is correct! Though Sen’s are 2x1.
I just want to say the infinite prestiging is very yes. Granted I’ve only prestiged twice thus far but still yes perfect - I’m impressed you managed to capture such a great macro feel!
Spritesheets!!!
I noticed the same standing frame happens 8 times, are these used for an idle animation?
EDIT: just checked, it looks like there is an 8-frame idle animation the same way the running animation is 8 frames. Easy enough to install new spritesheets, just drop your image straight into the Spacethumper folder in %localappdata% and make sure it’s got the same filename as the original.
Here’s a quick test sheet I made in about 30 seconds, if anyone’s interested in having a red noodle float in front of Protagonist at minimum weight. I mainly just used it to make sure I was installing and formatting things properly.

Finally completed my first run of the newest update!
A couple things I noticed:
- When Sen mentions the suit upgrade module, he say’s “up arrow” to activate instead of “down” which is what actually activates it. (Could’ve misread)
- Had a slight issue with a couple of buildings, namely the teleporter only working as a teleporter on the main grid point and a strange occurrence where the wall I had on the far right edge wouldn’t upgrade, but I’m not sure what caused the latter.
- On and Off for Windowed Mode in the options seem to be reversed.
Other than that, wonderful experience getting to the base max size and getting outta there. Now to load my file and prestige.
I currently have a file with max suit minus speed upgrades (I wanted to see her minimum speed) and my near perfect pre-prestige run.

Nope, my version of gamemaker doesn’t do mobile versions, and now that they’ve switched to subscription only I probably won’t ever upgrade it to do so.

Yeah, unfortunately all two wide buildings only work on their left side because of how I initially built the game. Not sure about the wall thing though.
Thought I fixed that, I’ll have to check it again.
I do have a paypal, but I prefer to only invoice from it just to make sure I don’t get beaned for doing NSFW stuff on it. I might open up a kofi or something in the future though.
Really weird bug, haven’t been able to reproduce it yet, but I did double check the bit that’s being referenced for issues.

How do you prestige multiple times? With the prestige run, I researched the teleporter before upgrading to maximum capacity and now the research station is saying I’ve researched everything.
For subsequent prestiges you have to reach max weight first (and actually get there, not just buy the upgrade). I might be changing around when the prestige option actually triggers the first time around to make it more clear what the conditions are.

Thanks! I had to save and exit after triggering the dialogue to get the research to appear but that did it.
I the saw that mod support for the sprites was added, so I decided I’d give it a shot. I decided to make it still resemble the original sprite while showing a bit more skin. Here’s what I made for the size 1 sprite sheet:

Just as a heads up to anyone using the sprites, there are misalignment issues here and there with the sizes. It is not anything too major and those not actively paying attention to it could very easily miss it. However I figured it might as well be brought up ahead of time so people could potentially fix said issues.
Examples:
Anyone who could fix the shown (and other visual issues here and there) would be greatly appreciated. Again it isn’t needed but it might just be a nice quality of life change

I get the control panel bug after im allowed to prestige then selecting the panel, after crashing it doesn’t happen again until i can prestige again
