Starbound Mod: Starpounds Big Fatties

Yeah, I think that was the problem. Once you get to the larger sizes, the chest tends to disappear entirely, unfortunately. I just didn’t realize it and kept overriding them. Hopefully they’ll get expanded sizes eventually. Would be nice to have some visual body difference between me and my partner when we’re both wandering around at max size.
The feeding tube thing is still annoying, but at least there’s a workaround, if a frustrating one. Thanks for the help though, much less frustrating knowing it’s just a limit of the mod and not a bug.

Could you add support for the Vulpes race mod sometime in the future?

There is a post in the discord that says that no request are taken. It’s a whole process in itself that I don’t know much about.

If you want foxes of varying kinds, The GalaxyFoxes EX modpack on the workshop works for two of the three races in the pack.

Races that are compatible are Eevee and Fennix. The Elysian fox race isn’t compatible (unless you go put the sprite work in yourself), and the character race mod itself feels semi abandoned with the last update of March of last year.

I probably shouldn’t have stopped to do this, but I wrote out a guide on how to patch/add new races into Starpounds. I tried to be as through as possible and including how to unpack pak files.

I kind of want approval from the Starpound devs before I link it anywhere.

Is it that you can add these without loseing your progress on a different race?

Hey, I’m using a translator to ask a question!
How do you handle the material item called “ponderous core”?

Ponderous Core is an item you trade in the Hog Diner. You will need that and other items to trade for the unique Starpounds theme weapons.

But where is that? Since you said that?

Ponderous Core can be found in the Ponderous Keep, Hog Diner is a bookmarked station you can teleport to

Specifically, Ponderous Keeps are dungeons you can find on some Glitch worlds. They look like castles and are inhabited by RPG-esque wisps. Beat the dungeon’s boss and you get a core at the end. The easiest way to find one is with the Planet Search mod from the steam workshop.

Also, I think you can buy ponderous cores at a high price from one of the merchants at the Diner.

Okay but how do i add that mod without loseing my save?

You should be able to add it through steam without it affecting either your character or universe save files. As it only updates the ship chair’s planet UI with a new search function.

Hi! Thank you for this great piece of work! But I have a question. What mod of the 100 recommended from steam changes EPP craft? I can’t fugure it out myself. It was crafted on anvil before the modding, and now I don’t know

Starburst Rework
It’s an overhaul mod and moves the epps to its own dedicated crafting table.

So, for some weird reason the Lucario race has an “invisible” arm which is highlighted by purple pixels and cuts off part of the actual body.

If you have multiple mods that mess with armors/outfits, it does sometimes result in these kind of errors, sometimes even make chunks being invisible due to conflicts.

The only mod that would edit them is Armor Adapt. Would that cause the problem? Cause that was included with the Lucario race

Update: Turns out it was the glow from certain buffs causing the arms to be outlined, mainly from the RPG Growth mod
