dingotush! Can you please make it so that the PC can make Sofia fatter? Like as if the PC is a bad influence on Sofia. I feel sad when Sofia does’nt gain weight while PC is way bigger than her…
Also, when you get a higher romance with Sofia, you should be able to make her into a glutton if the PC is also a glutton.
It would be also nice if you could make it so that if you date Steve and Sofia at the same time, if you have high romance with both you could make the relationship into where the PC, Steve and Sofia all date together and are together in a relationship. Of course, Steve would have to apologise to Sofia immensely!
Lastly, please add more content to Sofia! I love her so much! I know you have other stuff to do and I’m asking a lot but it would make the game so much better. Thanks
(sorry for bad english, it is my third language)
dingotush, I got some more suggestions! Add them if you like them or if you have the time. Sorry for writing a lot, I just love this game so much. Easily the best text game out there
Make it so PC has a higher capacity so she can eat more
Add an all-you-can-eat buffet where you pay upfront like 50$ or something and you can eat anything for the whole day. Would be extra fun if you could invite Sofia and eat and fatten her up.
Add more food options (especially bigger foods).
If PC has a very happy mood and accepts her body, the comments about her weight should make her horny like when people call her a pig or that she doesn’t fit on a chair and needs multiple chairs.
There is BBW, SSBBW but there is not a USSBBW achievement. Would be fun to achieve that! The achievement weight requirement should be around 700-800 pounds.
Because of PC’s gluttony and her being a bad influence on the town, the people should get fatter as a consequence!
When the PC becomes to fat she should be able to use a scouter or something that assists her. Yes, this sounds dark but it does not have to be. Instead the PC could be happier about it and the people around her could support her, especially if Sofia also gets a scouter.
Add more jobs like for example an equivalent of OnlyFans. You post pictures of yourself, videos of you trying food, clothes and mukbangs while you can collaborate with other fatties ! That way, if other jobs become harder or you wanna try something else, onlyfans would be an easier and maybe a lucrative option. The fatter you are, the more money rolls in.
Smaller things like the PC burping, messy eating, force-feeding PC or force-feeding for example Sofia, having trouble walking to locations, getting assistance from Steve and Sofia
Be able to move into Sofia’s, Reg’s or Steve’s house. Maybe even live in the All-you-can-eat buffet, (lol).
Have an eating competition in the bar, every wednesday! Would be fun to compete against other people
Be able to Romance Lacy and Rebecca!
This isn’t really a suggestion but there should be a warning for these kinds of things like the burping, force-feeding, becoming less mobile and needing a scouter. For example maybe add an option where the player can choose if they want these kinds of things to appear or show it in the pending achievements so they now if they are close to these things so they could diet or something.
Thanks for reading (I know a lot of these are just to make her fatter, greedier and hornier but I like those stuff. Sorry for being horny )
Last thing, if PC becomes too fat, there should be some kind of assistance installed on the bed so she does’nt need help for the time being.
Love the game. I love the addition of achievements. I know there is no way to get to an ending in the current release but how do you unlock other achievements like “orgasmically delicious” “I need help” and “out of control”?
As of right now, there is no “next”. You’ll have to wait for some future version I’m afraid.
I’m pretty sure those were all fixed in patch 5. You mentioned elsewhere you weren’t running the latest, so hopefully it’s sorted now.
It’s not in game yet. It will likely come when Steve gets an expansion.
Thank you!
That’s a valid out-by-one bug. Thanks for letting me know!
No, there probably should be though…
It only reduces your mood, it doesn’t cap it. It is possible to get back to very high levels.
I have to say @Morganism has done a great job fleshing out Reg’s character (and inspiring new mechanics), and I’m glad you like him!
Poor Steve! He’s probably the most complex character in the game, but yes, he’s a bit of an AH at the start (intentionally). The PC is 5’3" so for her 120 is a tad over an “ideal” weight (medically), certainly not underweight like she was at the start (at 110lbs she has a BFP of 20%).
Technically Sofia’s weight does change, but I haven’t decided what to do with this yet. I hope to have art for the game at some point and this would massively increase the number of images needed. Also it would change Sofia’s path significantly. If it ever happens it would likely after a finished release.
Oh my! I don’t think there’s enough grovelling in the world for that! Especially when …
When I’m working on Tramp, this is my main focus. It’s going to be a big addition to Sofia hopefully to reach the point where you move in (currently on step 14 of unknown). There’s been a lot of prep work in the current version to make this kind of thing possible.
Okay, onto the list… (seriously I love this kind of feedback):
This is a yes, but no. There are in game ways already to increase her capacity, and push beyond her normal limits occasionally, but for balance reasons she probably won’t be able to consume much more than now - there needs to be an upper limit to how quickly she can gain. Technically she’s already at a World Record setting capacity.
I’ve other plans…
This is always a background thing!
The game doesn’t track “horniness” as a stat. I’ve um’d and ah’d about this, but at the end of the day I didn’t want sex drive of the characters to be a dominant thing. If the game is run with veils on it should still be able to tease without being explicit.
This was awaiting on some development work (now complete). There are new related achievements in the dev branch.
It would be nice, but would make for an impossibly large art requirement, so it won’t be happening.
Sort of in the works, but not for use in “Nowhere”. The mechanics require the PC to stay mobile there.
Mechanics for this are already in place…
There will be more events of all kinds, but it’s low-priority compared with other stuff. It tends to happen when inspiration strikes.
This has always been the end goal of the game!
Unlikely, just because it adds a lot more work. Need to get the main three done first.
While I agree with the idea of consent in general, this isn’t how Tramp works. It follows the choices have consequences with plenty of warning model. There is, after all, nothing in the game that forces you to gain at all. If you do become huge, it’s on you as a player and you’ve been given every opportunity to not do that. Only Reg’s affection is gated on the PC’s weight, and you’ve been given plenty of flags to see where that’s going to lead!
Sort of coming… but not in the main town area.
Thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I’m hoping the achievements are encouraging players to explore the content more. There will definitely be more to come.
Achievement spoilers:
“I need help” and “Out of control” are specific to Steve’s (complex) romance path where you ask him to help you keep your weight under control.
“Orgasmically delicious” is triggered when the PC accepts certain aspects of her stuffing sessions.
Thank you so much for replying to my comments! I liked reading your comments on mine and thank you for telling me what you are gonna add and stuff you ain’t adding
Fantastic game, created an account to say so. Since you seem to enjoy feedback I have some -
Adding on to desire for messier eating or belches, could it possibly be linked to increasing the gluttony stat as a means of gradually adding them as text events into existing loops? I’m not really familiar with renPY so I don’t know if that would work as a way of integrating them into existing writing or if the best option is just wholly new events & not bothering with them as an augment. Including them as a dice roll based on gluttony in meal events would be a good way to add variety to eating & allow for the text to be pulled from an array with multiple options.
Alicia comments after you eat the entire cake & ‘The Tray’ and Lacy takes a second photo after you eat two ‘Tray’s’ but it could be another good dialogue point for one or both of them to bring it up if you’re eating either meal regularly, similar to how Lacy expresses regret to fattening you after you’ve gained a certain amount of weight. Maybe variants with escalating concern depending on how often you’ve eaten it and what your weight is? For me the game feels like it’s at its peak when the characters are reacting to actions you’re taking or have taken and escalating & varied concern over your hedonism is a good way to provide that.
Similarly, and I don’t know if this is a direction you want to take things, but having characters express concern about how much ‘Erin’ drinks could be a good way to fill out more content laterally to her weight gain - they comment at the bar if you regularly need a ride home but having Joe etc. comment with concern could be another angle that the player could experience during dieting.
It might be good to have the formula for weight gained change once you reach a higher weight, since its fairly easy to have your appetite expand dramatically the last 2-300 pounds you can gain can pile on insanely fast which can lead to a constant mobility diet cycle, having the weight come on more slowly after 500lbs would draw out the writing & events in that range while still allowing you to have Erin eat with reckless abandon.
Once again suburb game, very much looking forward to the next update & everything you have planned.
Thank you, and welcome to the forums. Also sorry for the late reply… (I do like feedback, and it’s already informed some of the game’s direction).
I’ve got some ideas about this, as I know eeven light slob and belches aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. I’m flipping between a simple preference option (which kind of goes against the overall design of Tramp), and some kind of learned response: as part of the PC’s internal dialogue the player decides whether this is a good thing or bad (which I currently favour, as it ties in with other planned stuff, but it would need new code). In any case adding such details would likely be part of a later pass over all the eating events once they are complete.
Long term The Tray won’t be a regular item on the menu, but moved to a periodic event (along with other planned things). It makes it far too easy to fly through the later stages (which is part of why it got added - before it took far too long) and if you are able do so it doesn’t give other things time/chance to trigger.
I’m glad you appreciate that aspect of the game! And, yes, I’d like to add more. Having the various NPCs pulling the PC in different directions is part of the fun for me, and what makes it feel ‘alive’. I’ve some ideas how to re-inforce this between the different stages. I think I need to track gain over time rather as well as the absolute value. Thankfully, the Python part of Ren’Py is replete with appropriate tools (there’s good reason why mathematicians like Matt Parker program in Python).
Love it! This is going on the to-do list. At the moment her alcohol intake only really has an impact on her appetite (post-pub kebab syndrome). I don’t know when, but …
I’ve already included the idea of a “set point” in the weight code but it doesn’t really cut in at the moment. Unfortunately I can’t easily tune what is currently the “late game” (though it’s really only act 2) until all the eating events have been finalised (I have plans). It will likely include both adjusting the set point and restricting the PCs access to food to some degree. I want her blow-out sessions to stand out from her day-to-day excess.
The mobility diet cycle will have to remain a game feature while the PC is in “Nowhere” for in-game reasons - but I do want to make it easier to maintain “just mobile” than it is at the moment (especially if you’ve triggered certain things which currently make it nigh on impossible not to yo-yo).
Thank you, again. The next update (whenever it occurs) will be focused on Sofia’s path (her act 3). Technically I need to proof-of-concept at least one end-game scenario so I know all the pieces are in place. This is quite a large chunk of work, so … well, don’t hold you breath!
I don’t know what it is about Sofia, but honestly she wound up being an even more encouraging feeder / enabler than Reg.
She stops me from jogging with a picnic (and public sex), she brings me free treats (and sex), she encourages me not to go all the way up to the swimming pool, she pays me enough money for weekend work that if it was an option I feel like I could buy my own house in the town. It actually got really unhelpful when I was trying to keep my diet going to get back under 800 lbs.
Kinda feel like any act 3 with her would probably be the most hedonistic one.
It might feel like that because the scenes with Reg in the town are still in progress… as in currently the only times you interact with him are at work when he makes a delivery.
Thank you for the response, particularly for how in depth it is.
For the slob preference options I can definitely see what you’re thinking with the second option being more in line with the spirit of the game - I’m guessing something similar to the reflections on Erin’s weight gain at work, or would it be more akin to her checking the scale where characters opinions on the matter weigh in? That latter would be much more intensive to implement obviously but works well with the social themes.
Limiting the massive meals to specific events would definitely slow down the late game snowball effect which resolves the harder to implement aspects of that. There’s a fundamental tension between the player’s desire to try to have Erin max out on her eating and wanting it to be slow enough for events to actually fire, adding mechanical limiters seems to be the right way to go and the ideas you have seem like good ones.
Glad you like the alcohol idea, I think it ties in well with the social shame aspects, hedonism, light health issues etc. Giving more points of concern and gossip parallel to weight gain opens loads of opportunities. This could even be something where there’s variation between love interests, where Sofia is more inclined to enable weight gain but shame large alcohol intake Steve could enable it - that’s already somewhat the case in his events and so would just be an extension of that.
I like the idea of a “radiant” system to handle “intensity” of potentially multiple kinks, though it would increase your workload and I’d rather more story content over descriptive sprinklings of the MC making a mess of herself in her quest to shamelessly pig out every night…
Are there any reliable ways to regain dieting willpower? I’ve tried going hard and taking it easy, but I never seem to be able to make it to the finish.
I just have to say. Up until i played this game i never knew i could be into just text. As an artist and writer i thought it simply impossible. Sofia grabbed my attention right away as she had many others. Your attention to detail. It’s all just great. I never want it to end. It’s certainly one of my favorites that’s for sure. I can’t wait for whatever more you have planned and will wait with baited breath.
So after starting another play through. I had no idea there was another way to hook up with bae Sofia then the way i did originally. That was really fun to find out. It’s like you see a ton of the same thing then bam hit with a left hook you totally didn’t see coming. I was planning on delaying getting with Sofia this run but what happened in the situation is exactly how i would’ve reacted.
Among all the other things this game gets right one I’m a huge fan of and that I’ve never seen done is. Npc actully showing interest in the player/protagonist. She made the first move which i never saw coming cause it never happens. At least that I’ve seen…
I’m currently writing my own visual novel and i can already say you’ve heavily inspired me. We have similarities in attention to detail. So believe me when i say i catch every little change in descriptions and dialog. I do have critiques but it’s all nitpicky.
Silly bit of potential headcanon, but I’ve recently been thinking about the idea that Erin/the protag might originally be from the UK. I don’t know if there’s anything that contradicts it given her mysterious backstory and it could explain her occasional Britishisms in spite of the American setting.
