Starbound Mod: Starpounds Big Fatties

If you want, editing certain items/trait in the mod is very simple as everything is coded in open lua. Just gotta find the particular item and adjust it however you want.

example I altered the duration levels of the toy squirts guns as I found them to be a bit underwhelming in regards of their impact.

So can someone tell me secret room in the hog ship or secrets in the mod?

Here’s a short guide on how to find the secret room.

Hidden for Spoilers

If you go to the bottom left-side room of the Hog Ship, there’s a seamless trapdoor in the middle of the room. If you’re having trouble finding the door, try looking for it using the inspect tool’s highlight feature. Interact with it and use the distortion sphere tech to travel along the tunnel. At the end is a secret merchant and a chunky version of Punchy.

Hi! Made an account here because I’m facing a minor issue in OSB that I just can’t figure out how to fix, and it’s causing a few issues. Essentially, cosmetics in my legs slot are being layered above my chest slot, so my thighs are covering up my stomach. With other cosmetics I can fix this by moving my chest cosmetics a layer higher than my legs cosmetics, but my Starpounds weight is locked to the lowest layer and trying to equip compatible armor will just layer it above my weight cosmetic instead of equipping the proper weighted clothing. I can’t find anything online about this, so I’d appreciate some help…

You’ll have to wait on the next update we’re working on. As it includes some modification for certain OSB slots to work with the weight gain. I am currently trying to get the racial clothing done to go with it.

That reminds me, I was working on a Pokémon race mod with Starpunds support and I got distracted. I should probably finish it since I’m over half-way done with the Starpounds support.

Is there mods for those three pokemon already, if not I’ll just add them to my mod. They should fit in with my shortstacks (Pikachu, Raboot, and Mawile).

Also does anyone know to get to some of the fat planets?

Also here are some suggestions for the next update. 1. Wall tiles basically terraria wall tiles that are in the background. 2. A list of stuff in the game like a book where there is a list of items of this mods so weponds, clothes, building blocks, decorations, ect. And if the /admin is on the ids are shown. 3. Recrutable races at hog diner, one of the characters that should be available to recrute is that florona that makes you fatter with magic when you get a specific book thats my ideas for the next update… also does anyone know how to keep your save when you add mods?

Starpounds itself doesn’t add any new planet types. You can already place tiles in the background with the right mouse button so there’s no need to add items specifically for that. The rest of your ideas are near-impossible to properly implement in a Starbound mod.

So, how well would Multibound 2 work with Open Starbound?

Can you do a Skuntank race too, if you still have plans to do more?

Right now, I’m think I’m going to try to finish Granular Weightgain first and then revisit my old mod. I feel like GW will have more utility for people over my Pokémon mod.

As for Skunktank

My mod was mainly focusing on smaller Pokémon around Pikachu’s height (1-2 feet tall). Skunktank is a little too large fit in with the other Pokémon. If do make a Skuntank race, it would either be as the default humanoid or…

It would be more interesting to make a new humanoid that fits Typhlosion’s general appearance (big gut, stubby legs, and thick neck). Since there’s enough Pokémon, like Skunktank, with that body type to justify making it. The only problem is that making new humanoids, even minor edits, is taxing. It really depends on how I feel after finishing GW… and if I can figure out how to recreate Skunktank’s Tail-Hair.

Bottom line, it’s a maybe, but I kind of want to do it.

ill admit im kinda stuck, trying to get to that secret merchant at the dinner, is it a have to complete something else first or am i just missing where to access them?

you at the very least need the distortion sphere tech in order to access the secret merchant, it shouldn’t be too hard to gather the resources to obtain it. as for where to find the entrance, it’s somewhere in the west section (which is left for clearity). keep in mind, the button is hidden. my advice, just mash E, walk around a bit (hold shift is the default keybind for walking) and steadily hover your mouse around the range your character can interact with things and you should be able to hit the button eventually.

And if you’re really stuck:

Running the Matter Manipulator across the ground will show unbreakable scenery blocks as blue squares, while the door won’t show up at all.

So im back and i have 3 suggestions.1. Fatten able pets so like you can fatten up your creatures you cought. 2. A small chance for the gluttonous tribe to be friendly and talkable just a small idea. 3. idea for more interactables like more blobs being fed by tubes, more ass and belly interactable and vore interactable, also fun fact that i discovered so i discovered that there is a mod that works with this mod and its a unexpected one and its the pokemon plushies mod somehow the vaporeons are fattened up when that mod is on. also bonus idea a force feed button to forces feed your friends or members of yoour ship

First of all, I’d like to say: Fantastic mod, incredibly detailed and fun to play around with!

Second, though, would like to make a suggestion or two: The ability to rest on big enough players’ guts like they’re beds, and a way to rub aforementioned players’ guts, helping them work down their meals faster! …And possibly be given from inside, too?
