I’m really hoping that’s the case. House on Hog Hill is such a great game, it’s basically what I’ve been looking for in a weight gain game for a while. I even went out of my way to create a patreon account just to support them because it just looked sooo good. I really hope you’re right, and that they come back soon ![]()
Are you ok? Doubt you’ll respond, but if you do ever see this I hope everything is alright, and thank you for the amazing game
how do i finish the chase scene?
i just started
It’s been almost a year since they left. Closed their Patreon and Youtube, and left without explaining anything. I don’t think they’re coming back. They got some support from Patreon, and ran.
And it sucks too because this game looked so good. The stuff we ended up getting was great. Exactly what I’ve been looking for in a game, but then shortly after they release the next chapter, it does great and people are excited to see more and are supportive on Patreon, and then they close everything and leave without a word? What happened…
I haven’t found anything nearly as good as this game, but I’m open to recommendations. I’m looking for games with health issues, burps, farts, extreme weight gain, and a female protagonist, basically anything like this game. Please let me know if you find something like it!
Try RoundBound it as a female protagonist, weight gain, NPC weight gain
i did my own research a bit ago, this departure definitely seemed alot more serious as they also deleted their completely unrelated deviantart and also their twitter page (both of which still remained the first time), and any lasting account i could find is completely dead or has no contact service available.
most likely theory is that they got a job that if it tied them back to niche fetishistic artwork and games would cost them it (to explain why the deviantart also went under)
i 100% agree that this game has such a unique quality to it, and i believe that to be its horror aspects, horror/horror adjacent games in both the transformation and weight gain gamespace are seriously a diamond dozen (i’ve only played like 5 total between both types)
horror is thrilling the same way erotica is arousing, theres alot of overlap that not alot of people have capitalized on, its one thing to just make a game where you get fat or you turn into a animal, but if you can tie that with feelings of fear or unnerve, you make it 10x more thrilling when you do.
(The Five nights with fatties series does this horny horror aspect expertly)
I guess it does make sense that maybe that’s why they deleted their other pages, but come on they could’ve said something instead of leaving us in the dark if that really is why they left. And just after they came back and released a new chapter too
I have to ask though, do you know of any games like this? Doesn’t even have to be horror, but I need to find games that have themes similar to this like slob, extreme weight gain (NPCs or your character), and health play. I really can’t find anything like this
Gaining Perspective may contain everything you want, although it is rather dark in tone and can be somewhat uncomfortable to play.
Heres a couple games that i believe are similar THOHH (by various degrees) that i have personally played myself
PKINADS PRISON and FATTENING by J8867bbw/Debyjull (RPGMAKER)
These games were created to celebrate twitter follower milestones and are short RPGMAKER “Find The Gameovers” sort of games.
Themes similar to THOHH include: Bondage/Stuckage | Non-consensual Protagonist weight gain/Stuffing | Slob/Sweating | Immobilism | Creepy atmosphere/Elements
GAINING PERSPECTIVE by GeekDragon (HTML Twine)
Already suggested by Generic_Humanoid but I will include anyway.
Gaining Perspective is a very “Black coffee” sort of Weight gain game: Dark, Simple, Effective.
Most of the darker elements come from how realistic its depiction of Weight gain is.
In line with this realistic depiction of Gaining,
Consequences for Gaining are equally depicted,
you will break chairs, you will struggle to move, your health will become a increasing obstacle in your way the more you decide to let yourself go.
Themes similar to THOHH include: Dark themes | Stuffing | Slob/Gas (Written, no audio) | Immobilism/Health issues
ENTHRALLED by JarbyJarbat (HTML Twine) (NON FORUM)
Technically this is more of a “Hypnosis/Mind Control Focused” game than a Weight gain game but it still features scenes of either Weight gain and or implied Weight gain.
[ Implied refers to something that doesn’t happen in the active story but is implied to have happened ]
this game also features a very dark (but well written) story with themes of:
Death, Loss of self, Loss of free will and more.
because of the harsh themes i will not directly link this game, and only recommend you play it if you are comfortable with those themes.
Weight gain Relevant themes include: Protagonist Stuffing (Implied/Endings) | Npc Stuffing (Implied) | Immobilism (Npc, Protagonist endings) | Protagonist Burping (Singular ending, Written) | Both Non Consensual and (Dubiously) Consensual Protagonist Weight gain (Implied/Endings)
I have doubt that Trickee will return, atleast anytime soon. but if they do i hope they will continue to make unique works like THOHH, because it was a great ride even if it reached the stop early.
I know it’s been years since anyone has even posted on this thread, but I really need to rant about this game. The House on Hog Hill was probably the greatest fetish game I’ve ever played, and TrickeePepper’s disappearance was among the greatest tragedies of the 21st century (only slightly hyperbolic).
There are plenty of great WG games out there, but none of them scratch the same itch this one does. It’s the only WG game I’ve found with THIS much reality warping and slob elements, to the point where it genuinely plays like an Agrams or Daradel story from the depths of DeviantArt.
Frankie gaining weight is never treated as some wholesome chungus thing. At best, she’ll either become complacent because she doesn’t have a choice, or she’ll be brainwashed into enjoying her pathetic life. The reality warping and mental change elements are handled MASTERFULLY. Just read this PEAK writing from the nerdification ending (my personal favorite):
”As you continue to watch the grand science fiction opera unfold, you begin to feel something shift. Like a whispered joke told to the fabric of the universe. One that you can’t quite make out, but somehow know is at your expense.”
There’s a certain tragedy exclusive to reality warping. It’s as if the very fabric of the universe is spiting someone for the grave crime of living a dignified life. They’ll never be able to live up to whatever potential they once had because their old identity has been completely erased, making a pathetic end feel almost inevitable.
On related note, this project has convinced me that horror games are the perfect medium for weight gain. For any regular person, gaining this much weight IS horrifying. And with any horror game, there’s the fear of the unknown. Your mind is constantly trying to fill in the blanks, only building anticipation for your character’s inevitable transformation. It almost treats weight gain as something even more depraved and humiliating than it is in real life, which my brain loves (for whatever reason).
This game playing like a “bad end hunt” honestly makes it even better. The fact that it is YOU who makes the decisions creates a feeling you simply won’t get by reading a story, as it is YOU who is directly responsible for what happens. It leaves a sense of guilt, which—in a fetish that constantly has to grapple with the ethical implications of encouraging people to lives that will likely end in an early grave—really adds to the experience. You almost certainly know better when you come across a rather suspicious prompt, but you nonetheless make the decision to doom your character out of sheer curiosity to see what happens.
And how could you not be curious? The fetish list is GINORMOUS! Too few WG games delve into gender transformation, and even fewer games in general are depraved enough to delve into slob and gas. I don’t even care for transformations into inanimate objects, but there’s still an ending out there for those who are! I’m still so sad we never got to see how TrickeePepper would handle the fetishes that hadn’t yet been incorporated into a chapter, like bimbofication.
I honestly created my account just to gush over this game. I know it’s all but guaranteed to never happen, but TrickeePepper returning would actually be legendary. At this point, I occasionally even muse about the possibility of some HERO deciding to pick up what’s left of the game files and finish the it independently. Even if it’s abandoned, I really don’t want this game to be forgotten. It’s that special.
I share your thoughts exactly. It’s always soul-crushing when talented developers choose to leave this space, especially when the stuff they make is so unique. I respect their wishes to leave, but man… I do wonder what the final version of this game would look like
