The text adventure game engine Quest, hosted on https://textadventures.co.uk is making a change to their policy regarding sexual/fetish content, which effectively bans this content in any shape or form from being uploaded to their platform. More concerningly however is the fact that any games which have been flagged as sexual/fetish content will be retroactively deleted from their platform entirely.
Effective November 2nd of 2026, years of weight gain game content will be removed and made irrecoverable unless an archive is made of existing content during this grace period.
While a majority of these Quest games were available through the forums and can be more easily found and archived before the deletion period, there is always a strong possibility that others simply never made their way to the site, and could be entirely lost.
As a result, this announcement has been made as a formal request for anyone interested or able to reach out with any Quest games they are aware of which encompass the weight gain/expansion spectrum. Preferably, this should be done in the form of linking to the project itself when applicable, but if this is not an option, then a physical file can be shared. Once this one-month period has come to a conclusion and no further games can be found, a thread will be created on the forum itself, which will include multiple links to the archival collection, alongside documentation of their contents and authors when applicable.
Submissions can be made at Quest Text Adventure Games Site Will Delete All NSFW/Fetish Games , or through Discord DMs via the discord account donremington
EDIT:
I have added a link to a table which shows all games currently contained within the archive. This list will be updated as new entries are submitted, and will include links to the archive download itself once completed. In the event that more games are found past the deletion point, they will also be added to the list and archive.
